Hey everybody I am almost 100 pages into Bret Hart's Biography and it is great. Unlike what some people may think it isn't 500 pages of him whining about Vince McMahon. He does talk a bit about Vince being at his fathers funeral, but other then that the WWWF aka WWF aka WWE are only mentioned in passing, reffered to as a terrirory because it was at the time I am reading about. He talks about his brothers and sisters, and how he met Jake Roberts, Dynamite Kid, Andre the Giant, and his first wife Julie. It's pretty good so far. I recomend it.

I'll get it when it comes out here. I'm going to get Jericho's book first. What else should you expect from one of the best wrestlers/storytellers in the business?

Only the best!!!

I only expect it to be the best there is was and ever will be as far as biographie of a wrestler is conserned. I heard "A Lions Tail" is a good read too. If it's independent of the WWE I may pick it up too. I think the only WWE published bio that is worth getting might be "Have A Nice Day" by Mick Foley. He seems to get alot of leway with Vince for some reason.

It's not really like that for Bret's

Seems like there are only two kinds of wrestling books, the ones where wrestlers say Vince McMahon is a genius and revolutionized wrestling (Mick Foley) and ones where they say he's the Anti-Christ (Chyna).

I'd like to check out Bret Hart's book, cuz he was always my favorite wrestler back in the day.

Don't get me wrong, anybody who had followed wrestling for anylength of time knows where Bret's book is going, but the interesting thing is that it all stems from audio tapes he made (like a journal), and I understand he did infact write most of it, and it was then edited down. He says alot of nice thing about Hogan, Savage, and DOES NOT DWELL on the negatives as some people tried to imply that he would. There is one point in the book where Andre the Giant is pissed because he wasn't in the Summer Slam 89 main event, and he tells Bret "Vinces old man was never like this, all I needed was a hand shake and I knew it was as good as done." and I believe this because many people have said that there favorite promotore to work for was McMahon SR for that very reason.

Vince Said he Could...

Well I am nearing the Montreal Screw Job point of the book and according to Bret, when Vince talked to him about breaking the contract he told him he wouldn't have to drop the belt. I guess it comes down to who you beleve. If he did say that then obviously Vince is a lying piece of trash, if he didn't say it why hasn't he filed a law suit against Bret for saying he did?

Considering McMahon's reputation for being a coniving back stabber and basicly ripping off almost every big money maker who's ever worked for him I'd have to side with anyone who speaks against him at this point.
