I've heard all kinds of talk over the years about whether or not it's as good to use "tickle tools" in our tickling sessions. (Drew and I have an entire box full of goodies...though we don't always use them.) OK....here's a question for everyone. Don't forget to answer the why part. It may clue us in to some interesting patterns. Also, if there's more than one, feel free to share them all!

FOR TICKLERS - What is your fav thing to use to tickle someone? Where does it seem to work best?...and why is it your fav?

Vampire Gloves?

To your point about tools, I came across a new tool at "The Stockroom", an online bondage gear shop. They are called "Vampire Gloves" because they have 120 tiny "teeth" on them. Hmmmmmm.

The ad copy (reproduced below) offers a good description and recognizes the tickling potential. I also included a link to the page so you can see a picture. If anyone has used them, maybe we can get a Ticklish Consumer's Report review.

"A pair of sporty black leather gloves (soft, thin leather), with a snap closure at the wrist and one other special feature: the fingers have prickly little tacks sticking out of them (120 to be exact). The tacks are short, about 1/8" long, and will prick and scratch the skin like little thorns, but will not pierce the skin unless you squeeze or slap it very firmly. The gloves can also be used very lightly, and will stimulate the skin in dozens of distinct little points without actually hurting at all (though some people might find the sensation rather intense, perhaps in a ticklish way)."

I have used feathers, vibrators, and other items to tickle with. However, my favorite instruments to tickle with are my own fingers. The reason, for me, is because when tickling places like the sides and tummy I can feel the muscles of the ticklee working - tensing up, having spasms as I tickle, and that adds to the excitement for me.

Both as a "lee" and a "ler" fingers are the most deadly instrument to use on me. I've had all kinds of stuff used on me over the years... feathers, brushes, toothbrushes (Oh Yeah! Those are deadly too! LOL), pens, rope, Mardi Gras Beads, shaving brushes, forks and more.

I just say... Let your fingers do the walking... I mean tickling!

For me it's been the fingers, almost exclusively. There are exceptions and I'll use just about anything I can grab a hold of, but I think the greatest appeal of fingers for me is the tremendous energy being transferred from back and forth.

For me it would have to be...

As a lee my favourite thing for someone to tickle me with is their bare toes which works best wiggling up and down the soles of my own feet, the reason is because its been a fantasy I have wanted to indulge(is that a word?) in for years and it tickles me alot more than fingers and feathers do, its my main tickle fantasy!

As a ler It would be my fingers which work best on the neck and the under arms, no particular reason as I am more of a lee than a ler, iv never actualy tried feathers before so I dont know if id get a better reaction, Ive always wanted to try a toothbrush to tickle someone also.

As a 'ler...gotta go with the general consensus and say fingers. I like feeling the other person's body react to my touch, and the accuracy is hard to reproduce with a tool.

As a 'lee, almost anything is effective, but the most enjoyable is light fingernail tickling by leaps and bounds. It's the only kind I can actually endure for more than a few seconds, long enough to actually enjoy it.

On review, feetclimax brings up an excellent point. I've had my feet and tummy both tickled by someone else's barefeet before, and it produced some remarkable results. In particular, having your own feet tickled by someone else's can be an intense turn on.

I vote for fingers both ways. While I love fiction and art that feature diabolical tickling tools, in real life there's nothing like direct skin-to-skin sensation.

I've mentioned this in a few of my stories because I've used them and it truly works. Go to an office supply store and get ten of something called "Finger cots" or "sorting thimbles" or whatever your location calls them. They are vey common. They come in all styles, but for this purpose, the thin brownish ones are the best. They are like rubber thimbles with hundreds of tiny little rubbery knobs on them. After a 'lees feet (or armpits, I've noticed) are covered in a thin sheen of baby-oil, go to town! The knobs have a way of finding individual nerves my past 'lees have told me. I wish I had taped some of the reactions to these evil little darlings...

Thanx for agreeing with my feet to feet idea Ticklish 9s it really can be quite a turn on lol, anyone who hasnt tried it should give a try, I like your idea of having your tummy tickled by feet aswell, even though I havnt actualy had that done to me yet, maybe someday. 😎

Yes...feet ARE a good tickle tool! Sometimes, Drew and I will tickle one another's feet while wigglig our toes in one another's belly or pits. Such fun!

I LOVE Vampire Gloves. I can't say they tickle me, but they are great for "other" types of play.
