What would you, my fellow TTers, think of a massive, MASSIVE crossover sort of pic starring various gals in a tickle-battle-royale to finally settle once and for all who makes the greatest 'lee for a tickling pic? As in, various continuities and so on, including hot anime/western animation ladies (probably Expies - http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Expy - of existing characters so as not to break copyright), pretty elves, luscious green-skinned alien babes, modern-day cheerleaders, Silver Age style superheroines, medieval gals and futuristic lady-cyberpunks, sexy anthro girls etc. etc.?

I'm thinking a major League of Extroardinary Gentlemen or Infinite Crisis sorta thing where universes collide, the mother of all ticklefights, followed by the girls uniting against an alien threat with a multitude of terrible tickly tentacles, only to fall back on their tickle-fighting ways when the foe is defeated. 😉 Only problem is it'd take TONS of writing/drawing (neither of which I can do >.> unfortunately) and a massive investment of time, I'm not sure any one artist could handle the workload solo, and I sure don't have the money to commission it...BUT it could be done if there's enough interest, and maybe folks pool money once an artist is willing...like everyone pays a certain amount via paypal to 'volunteer' a gal to be tickled, including reference and such. It could be done as a few splash pages or a short comic I think, but as I said, MASSIVE investment of time and effort, so there would need to be overwhelming support.

Anyone, yea or nay? Please post with responses/ideas!

Props for the idea, Alphazion, but in the way you're suggesting it I'm afraid it wouldn't get off. I'll try to put in the way I see it (not trying to speak for others, but hey, everyone can give their own view on this as was asked too).

* A grand cross-over artist project is wonderful. It has been done before (the big sleepover project a couple of years ago and the TkTetris project to name the two I know) and it can be done again. Although I think not exactly in the way you are suggesting.
* Solo I have done a 'Tk Olympics' tickle battle, which was quite massive in itself, where 8 OCs were battling it out in a weekly event for several weeks in a row. If you don't know of it, you can see it here: opening, event 1, event 2, event 3, event 4, event 5, event 6

Now the reason I think It's not going to work in this form:
* People are busy. They have to make choices how to use their time. You can't ask them to dedicate a huge chunk of time to participate in a massive multi-people spanning project. Especially if interaction between people is needed this will drag on to take months or over a year to get anywhere because people will have to wait for each other to respond and have time and such.
* It is not very interesting to draw characters you don't know or don't have feelings towards so if you choose a set of characters (any set, can be the Expies - which I never watched, or something else) then it may not be enough motivation for a lot of people to invest a lot of time into. It would make a difference if every artist would pick one of their OCs to compete in the fight, but unless there's dice involved (like in the Tk Olympics) it can become a game of favourites. Then again the audience could vote or some other rule system needs to be used for it to actually work.
* Mediums can be a problem, I haven't used flash and although I may want to learn it some day, there's no time nor priority for that right now and the medium will mean a lot more people can't participate or have to depend on a select few to do the extra work FOR them again...

Well yeah, that's what I was afraid of, it being such a logistical nightmare to coordinate that kind of thing. Even with the money it'd be a major workload, and dividing it up between a team of artists would still make it that much harder, not to mention more complicated with the payments of everyone who wanted their OCs in.

The way I was initially thinking it would be, say, each character would be between 5-7 dollars or so to 'buy in'. Like for example, I'd pay to put Haley in for Team Anthro, while Tomato Dragon, Khali, lostonezero and Bella Donna could submit their elves for a strong showing, with Snail Shell and tyklfynd sending their sexy demoness OCs, and so forth, with prolific artists like Poisonous Monkey and FTKL having a huge portfolio to choose from could send in their most popular ladies...again, though, this was just an idea, and seeing what a massive investment it'd be, is so big and unwieldy that it seems it is and will be just a fantasy. Sigh...

With the vast amount of fictional femme fatales in this world and the fact that this list can only expand, you're right, it'd be a logistical nightmare o ___ o

However, i've had a thought swim around my head for a bit now. What would you say if we did a pageant of our own local gals? Miss Ticklish? Get all the personas and OCs that people are willing to submit and see who is THE most sought after ticklish beauty around? =P

Now there's an idea, it'd be much smaller and more manageable. 🙂 Could even do semi-finals in certain 'categories' and a final Miss Ticklish competition pitting all the winners against one another? 😉

I would recommend that its broken into several pieces like Marvel series so you can shape up the characters instead of putting all zillion into one. Still I must admit I am fairly interested about this project...

ya Marvel did something like this for Civil War no? Hmm, well, I dunno. Haley is pretty much my main OC so I'd be representing Team Catgirl. (Nya!) :3

But at the end we could have a major showdown perhaps...if it turned out to be doable...

That can't be right.

For finding out 'who's the favourite OC around here' you wouldn't have to do this I think. It's pretty obvious which are the most popular characters (no, Jen is not quite there although a lot of people like her). Ozzy's Yenny is somewhere in the top (been requested for so many times by different people, especially when she was not in the TK world anymore), LBH's Mercy has been drawn by so many different artists and styles, which tells you something. Just to name two characters. A simple poll would give you answer to "who's most favourite at this moment" too.

But it would still be fun to do more collabs around here. Finding the time and the RIGHT one is the hardest part. If you ask too much from the artists the project will die down before it's even starting.

LOL no way that would be rediculous XD I was thinking the lurkers who have OCs but no drawing talent (me especially, but others as well) could sorta pool their money and commission either something big from certain artist(s) or kind of put several pics together into a "collage"...i dunno, not explaining this very well >.< But obviously any artist who wanted to participate could sorta put together a super-team, I like Firefox's idea for the Miss Ticklish pageant with different "categories" and whoever wanted to contribute either with cash or art could do so
