Where's The Archies on that list?

Perhaps Ven will be along and tell us about what it was like being a roadie for some of these groups...he was quite *versatile* from what I understand...lol.

Q

Don't I wish!

Saw PF do the "wall" concert...

Saw the Moody blues one time way back before the discovery of fire..

I've been to see yes every time they tour through CT. since 1972 and will be there to see their 35'th anniversary tour in May. Just picked up the CD from that one which has 5 songs never before issued including the acoustic version of " Roundabout" which I've already listened to a dozen times today...😀

Queen is actualy my fave rock band of all time. Got just about everything they ever did (with the acception of a few bootlegg outtakes I never got my hands on)😀

I remember The Archies.....they were a fine band. And Jughead was a damn good drummer!

So...any Foghat, George Thorogood, ZZ-Top, or Stevie Ray Vaughan fans here?

So it looks like it was a farewell tour..that is a shame if thats the case. Seems all the real music makers in this world are callin it quits. 🙁

The tour was called farewell 1...the door is still open...there is hope for another tour!

No one's mentioned Queen yet...Remember Mr. Fahrenheit?? OMG--how amazing a performer was F.Mercury?

XOXO

ooh. i can't get into queen. freddie just doesn't do it for me - unless the devils win the stanley cup and they play "we are the champions".

but here's one no-one will agree with: the partridge family. i'm serious - i was listening to them this morning while driving to catch my bus. everything they sing is happy, peppy, and romantic.

Morning honey!

Well we finally disagree on something <gg> I LOVED Freddie.

I actually like the Partridges too! Hope that makes up? <gg>

XOXO

indeedy doo stephie.

The actual name of that song is "Don't Stop Me Now"..but shit, major kudos for someone in the USA mentioning that one as it wasn't ever a single nor hit in the US😀 Was off the 1978 LP "Jazz".
