Hey everyone, I thought I would share a project I have been working on.
I've been spending a lot of time with my sewing machine lately, and after a couple of trips to hardware and fabric stores I've made a pair of velcro handcuffs and anklecuffs. They are very soft, while still being rigid enough to keep their shape and secure a wrist or ankle well. if your in them it is possible with a little contorting to get yourself out. Although I've used a removable chain link in the middle, so you can for example, tie someones hands to bedposts, making them escape proof (as long as hands are tied away from each other I've not found it possible to get out). But if hands and feet are cuffed together and your stretched out and tied down it is very hard to move enough to get out.
After buying four adjustable straps to go around corners of the bed, there's less than a minute or two between wanting to play and having someone in all the cuffs tightly secured down.
These pictures are of version 2 of my cuffs, I was still learning to sew while making the first pairs. These new ones have very sturdy D rings and will hold up for a long time, I was able to make the stitching very neat and I think they look really good. I even made a matching blindfold.
if I can make more up to my standards I'm considering making a third pair to put up on ebay or etsy.com and seeing if there's any interest from anyone that wants a pair.
I would love to hear any input, or suggestions. Thanks for checking out my project.
