How can you guess if somebody is ticklish?!

This is a very interesting topic in my point of view. Is there any way to predict if somebody is PROBABLY ticklish? Of course it is not definite but what are the factors that increases the probability of being ticklish. Here is what I think:
1. Girls with thinner bodies are more likely to have ticklish upperbodies. I have seen this in the models that are being tickled in the tickling videos but in the real world I don't have that many experiences to compare with. Does anyone have any experiences? Can anybody simply reject this based on a personal experience?

2. The race or maybe nationality might be also important. Some time I remember a message on this forum about asian girls. I am not sure about this but it might be a factor, simply because this has to do with some kind of genetic thing and may be related to race.

3. Age seems to be important in some cases. I think that almost everybody is ticklish when young. And the younger the person is, it is more likely to be ticklish. Is this true? Any ideas?

4. Is ticklishness a genetic feature? If some girl's mom is ticklish does this increase the probability of her being ticklish?!

I have stated this before, but I believe that red-headed women are the most ticklish I have ever met. Put it this way...in my life I have never met one that isn't ticklish!

Also, if a woman wears shoes all the time, that tells me one of two things. Either a) she hates her feet and thinks all feet are ugly OR b) she is keeping them covered so noone can tickle them becuase she is so ticklish there!

The following are all known facts about ticklishness because someone on the forum told me so, not to mention all the videos out there that prove it.

<B>There is no such thing as a fat ticklish person.</B>

We all know weight is inversely proportionate to tickling. You may think you are ticklish, but sorry. God only gave that to the skinny people.

So before you eat that BIG MAC.... you'd better remember what I said!

<B>Black or African people are not ticklish.</B>

We all know that the darker your skin, the less sensitive your skin is.

Less sensitivity = not ticklish.

I mean... look at how much exposure to the sun you had to get that way. Never mind the fact that it is dark in your mother's womb. That's no damn excuse.

<B>The older you get, the less ticklish you are.</B>

I mean... give me a break... people over 50 are just faking it. You know you have to turn in your tickle buttons when you reach the halfway mark. No one wants to tickle a crusty old goat. Don't forget to pick up your canes on the way out.

<B>Only blonds or redheads are ticklish.</B>

Sorry if you have brown hair, or black hair... I know... You have to realize that the color of your hair definitely determines how ticklish you are. Don't ask me to quote the scientific facts behind it. I just tickled 4 blonds so I know I'm right!

<B>Conclusion</B>

So basically... If you are black, your hair is black, you are fat and you are old... Hell... It pretty much sucks for you. Do you know why?

Because the people on TMF have determined that you just aren't ticklish. Your hair, your ethnicity, your weight, and your age is against you. Too bad... SO SAD!

Hey... No use arguing with me about it. Those are just the facts. Plain old facts.

1. Old people are ticklish. After i discovered family secret #4 (I'm numbering them now lol!) i found out that ticklishness in our family lasts for a looooong time, then you just dont care anymore.It might be inherited, or it might just be a learned thing. I dont get it, and i dont know if its true, but it somehow applies to our family. My grandma ( dads mom) loved to be tickled and her daughter wasnt ticklish at all. My boyfriend's family is the opposite way. He's the only one in his family to be ticklish, but his family isnt. I only knew this cause he told me once i told him about what happened with me and my grandma.

2. All races are ticklish, and many different body types too. trust me on this one. I wont go into it.

3. Brunettes are damn ticklish too. Im a brunette, nuff said *crosses arms*

4. I only wear shoes all the time cause its damn cold, not because people look at my feet. I wear sandals because its hot and theyre fun to wear, not because i want people to see my feet. I HATE feet, why would i care if people see mine.

I think one factor that plays a role in ticklishness is skin sensitivity. As people get older the skin they do loose some skin sensitivity. Also people with lighter complexions do tend to have more sensitive skin. I also believe that muscle tends to be more ticklish than fat. With all that said I think all these factors make only a slight and not a huge difference. So yes there are ticklish black, fat, old people.

Stacy...it was only a guess as to how one might determine "if" someone might be ticklish. In all reality, it is really hard to ever know who is and who is not. I guess each of us have our own "methods" of trying to figure it out...lol. It's like what gigglebaron said. I also *seem* to think that the bubbly, outgoing, giggly type might be the ticklish type as well. We know it's not completley true, but it is from my own observations and experiences that I speak from. Just an opinion.

I also think sunrise was being humorous...I just hope everyone realizes as this post goes on that these are just fun observations to guess if someone might be ticklish without knowing them or if they are!

After carrying this obsession around with me for almost four decades, I'm able to detect a vibe. It's not one hundred percent correct, by any means, but it's on the mark more often than not. It's a vibe you give off, sort of like how ships and aircraft flash IFF codes. Of course, in some cases, the vibe is so strong that it's a lock, like with this young, pretty Costa Rican girl at work. I gave her a gentle finger greeting in her rib cage last week, and I got proof positive. Couldn't miss.
Conversely, there are other people who simply can't be, and aren't. The vibe knows, you know? 😛

I am glad a lot of people gave their ideas about this. When I posted this I didn't mean it to be any offense or anything. And I talked about probablility. Because ticklishness turns out to be nothing like a deterministic thing. I had a cosine that was not skinny at all but was very ticklish. Anyway, I likes how somebody can detect it with the 6th sense!
One thing I was interested in was to see if anybody has seen any girl with very skinny body who does not have a ticklish upperbody?

Truth be told, we can surmise until we are blue in the face, but the only REAL way to tell if someone is ticklish is to tickle them (or I guess at the very least, ask them if they are.)

I have known all shapes, colors, sizes, and ages of people in my life....all with varying degrees of ticklishness. The only thing that I have not really encountered too much of is a complete lack of ticklishness. I think I have only met two people in my life that weren't ticklish at all...and just to put a little monkey wrench in a theory that is flying around here....they were both very fit, skinny girls. Go figure 🙄

My Tickling Stats

There might not be alot of posts about ticklish guys on this thread, so I figured I'd add my two cents.

As for my 'tickling credentials' I'm the best tickler I know, or any of my ticklees knows. I've tied and tickled lots of guys, lots of races, ages 18-42, fat to muscular. I don't do the really light and flirty tickling to them, I'm tickling them to make them laugh like crazy.

For the most part there are lots of ticklish people of all races, ages, and body-type.

However, if I had to make a definite vote for most ticklish:

**Thin Torso**
If a guy has a thin torso he most likely has a ticklish ribcage and waist. Usually a thin guy with his arms tied up above his head will laugh like crazy if you squeeze/tickle his ribs and sides with both hands at the sametime.

**Muscular Torso**
Abs are probably ticklish. Tied up in a fashion similar to above, they usually can't stand fingers racing around their abs or sides. Tickling exposed underarms definitely make him laugh like crazy too.

**Muscular Guy, Ticklish Feet**
For some reason I've found that if a muscular guy is 'tough' and won't laugh or flich if his ribs are tickled, his baresoles are usually very ticklish. For instance, one of the most muscular guys I ever tied up was a 29 yo black guy who was laughing like crazy and said to let him up because he was about to pee when I was tickling his feet for a longtime. Also a one of my former roommates was a muscular hockey player and I tickled his extremely ticklish size 13 feet ALL the time. I also tickled the baresole of another hockey player a couple of times and he yanked his ticklish foot away both times.

**Red Head**
I have no clue why, but every single red-head guy I've ever tried to tickle is very ticklish. Especially feet. I've got a redhead friend who was asleep on the couch one time and I tickled his socked foot. It woke him up immediately and he pulled his leg away fast.

**Italian**
Yup, just about every guy of Italian descent seems to have really soft and ticklish barefeet.

Here's my two cents, for whatever it is worth. I do not believe that any of these factors have to do with ticklishness. It varies according to the individual person. I've known women of all shapes and sizes, and races, who are ticklish and not ticklish. For example, my best friend tells me that his mother, who is now 60, has always been very ticklish, while his sister, who is 37, is hardly ticklish at all. I've also known women of all races who were ticklish and not ticklish. My ex, who was white, wasnt ticklish, and I also knew a young african american girl in the 1980s who was about 19 when I knew her, and she also wasnt ticklish at all. Some say that age may be a factor in ticklishness, but again, not always so. My ex gf at 19 wasnt ticklish, and my aunt, even at 62, has always had incredibly ticklish feet. I think ticklishness varies according to the individual and has nothing to do with shape, size, race, or even age. While may say that younger people are ticklish than older ones, and this can be true, it is not always true. Ticklishness can be hereditary, like a very ticklish mother having a very ticklish daughter, but again, this is not always so. I saw my ex gf tickle her mother, and the mother was quite ticklish, at like 50, while my ex wasnt ticklish at all. So, to summize, while ticklishness can be hereditary and according to age, I do not believe this is always so, Iam more of a believer that ticklishness is an individual thing.
