How can you tell real tickling from fake tickling in a video?

This is still rather new to me.

I went to an on-line site with clip samples that could be downloaded for free. Some of the tickling was pretty hot, but it struck me that it might all be fake. One man yelled and protested theatrically while having his feet tickled, for example, but I noticed that he never moved his feet during the tickling. Isn't the normal biological instinct to curl one's foot?

Some of the other stuff--again, while hot--looked too carefully choreographed.

What do those who buy, watch, and or make such videos say?

Goforthelaugh, from what I've heard and understand is that if the tickling victims feet are the focus point and if the persons feet are not moving or the toes are not curling up ( kinda like your hand making a fist ) and you hear laughter then yes its faked..Sorry

What is actually real and actually fake we can't determine because we are not the models getting tickled. It's all a matter of if you like it or not. I personally have purchased several clips that some of the opinions on the forum were that they were fake and i ended up liking them. It just depends on what you like to see in ticklees and you can just go with your instinct.

my opinion is...

...that if you tickle someone and they just laugh with no movement or reaction seems robatic then there maybe a little acting going on. But i agree it maybe really hard to tell if you are not there actually. Ive seen Alot of feet stuff that many people were totally in love with that seemed like a total oscar award winning performance to me. (personally i have never seen a woman react like they were dying after someone tickled their feet after the first minute or two at least) anyway in these vids you have to expect a certain amount of performing in order to make a good video. dont worry about faking too much if you feel that one company is selling trash clips or vids then dont buy from than anymore!!

I will say, I'm not much of an expert on tickle videos (a bit of a newbie), but it seems that when someone is really being tickled their body movements and laughter are very out of control. For some reason, in the few clips I've seen, I can tell somehow.

Usually if you have hit someones true tickle spot, whether their feet, ribs, or armpits, the person reacts accordingly. They can't help but laugh like crazy and their body moves in spasmodic ways. They thrash, kick, scream and any number of tickle reactions. When someone is "acting" laughter, or being tickled, they are in a character, it's not their true selves. When someone is VERY ticklish, is being tickled...they lose the ability to act, or control their emotions. The laughter just comes from the belly and they can't hold it back!

There is such a huge difference in the way people react to being tickled that it is very hard to tell how much they are performing for the camera.

I've tickled women that would stay almost completely still while being tickled, but still are very ticklish.

Just because their toes don't curl up doesn't mean they are not ticklish!

I've had others that thrash like a wild cat, but hardly laughed at all.

I had one that had a monotonous laugh that regardless of how long I tickled her, stayed the same volume and intensity.

In a video I don't worry if they are acting or not, just do their reactions push my buttons in a way I enjoy.

One ticklee in a video may be genuinely extremely ticklish, but her reactions might not be what I enjoy, so I would skip that video, while another ticklee might be moderately ticklish but might have a laugh and physical movements that turn me on.

If she's a good actress, what the hell!

I think all of them are acting to some degree, even subconsciously, because they know they are being video taped. Even in real life tickling, a ticklee that really enjoys the tickling may exaggerate their reactions to encourage the tickler, again sometimes this can be a subconscious reaction.

In the end I think it's such a personal thing, if the reaction of the ticklee you are watching is what you expect, then you think it's real and if it's not you think they must not be ticklish and they are acting.

I think the vast majority of the tickling video producers use women, ( or men) that are truly ticklish, but their reactions just vary.

Reactions, facial expressions, reflex actions, skin color(shade) during the tickling,
dialog between ler and lee.
The lee posing and constantly looking up at the camera smiling = FAKE.
Unemotional dialog seem scripted = FAKE
Total lack of movement(unless the person is tied toatally immobile) or reaction = FAKE
Overally physical appearance during the tickling and when the tickling stops for a moment and you cannot tell the difference = FAKE

Sooooooooooooo many variables and subtle signs whether or not the lee is faking or embelisihing or being genuine.

Some of the laughter in videos is so obviously faked, but when a gal is cooing, moaning, or even just non-stop screaming, I don't get the impression that she's ticklish.
I prefer something more along the lines of a Carol Burnette-style guffaw than the sound of someone being chain-sawed.

Movement is not always an indication of fake or real...

I'm not expert on tickling videos. I can only speak from personal experience. My feet are insanely ticklish and sometimes when they are tickled, the foot that is being tickled does not move---the opposite foot does. Sometimes neither of them move (I love to be tickled could be why...).

The overall sound and intensity of the laughter speaks volumes, not only to whether the laughter is fake, but also the level of ticklishness when it's not fake, and from my experience the amount of movement can be very misleading as an indicator.

I remember a girlfriend in college whose entire body went into paralysis whenever I tickled her feet. She couldn't defend herself in any way while I'd slowly tickle her soles with only a loose grip on her ankles. She would just fall back and laugh hysterically, unable to speak until I decided she'd had enough.

My wife on the other hand is very ticklish everywhere, but needs to be restrained. One of our favorite games is for her to promise not to move while I softly tickle her feet, but once she starts really laughing, the movement is completely involuntary.

From the standpoint of videos & clips, closing your eyes and listening to the laughter so that you're not distracted by anything visual should help sniff out the fakes from the genuine.

Tickling is a complex and very personal experience and this in and of itself makes it hard to tell if a person is faking or not. Some people laugh a lot some hardly at all. Some thrash around a lot, some hardly at all. But all of them may be very ticklish.

Fake or Not



I would have to agree with the post from "luvsgirlsfeet". Those signs seem to be pretty much a dead giveaway that the "lee" is not ticklish. But as with anything that is certainly not a "sure bet" but I'd be pretty confident to live by it.

A person sensitive to tickling would almost certainly have some involuntary twitches, and jerks, and outbursts of somekind, some can be controlled, certainly, but there would be some signs of sensitivity.
