Mine was in high school in the 80s. It was a classmate who I tickled frequently and she tickled me back. I eventually floated the idea that we should try tying and tickling each other. She was game. We were in high school so obviously lived with family so we had to wait till one of us got the house to ourselves for a significant amount of time. Eventually she got her house to herself and we had a session. We were both nervous of course and not terribly skilled at bondage. But we did it and had a great time.

Great story! I couldn't relate more to the quote I took from it above. I was stuck in that 'insufferable hell' for decades, trapped watching videos of other people doing the tickling I so much wanted to be doing myself! I owe it to this place for helping me realize there are places we can go and experience this with professionals in a safe environment without the worry of things like being 'catfished.'

It was Terorizer whom I connected to deeply. We chatted online, and then on the phone, and then finally, I flew to California to meet him. We met at a Marie Calendars. He had a red feather in his hand when I arrived. My laughter filled the restaurant. The connection we made through tickling was easy. The over 20-year close friendship we developed afterwards was life changing. Losing him still hurts beyond measure. However, I am so very grateful for our friendship. The only thing I regret is thinking that our time together would be 50, 60 years +.

Only travel was paid. I met him and went to my first gathering before he mentioned TMF. We were never romantic partners, but we were besties, and then finally I considered him closer than a brother.
