How Do I....?

My windows xp computer has Windows Media Player and of course Real Player.

HOWEVER- I've noticed that a lot of clips, movies, etc.... download with Quick Time Movie program. I don't have that (giggle... well I do, but it's QuickTime for Apple. Lot of good that did!)

Is it possible to convert the files, or download Quick Time Movie (for windows) at little or no cost, or am I just wishing for too much?

And if I can convert them... how do I do it? Oh.. .and is there a program that is compatable with all three? WMP, RP, QT?
