How Do You Give Feedback to a Ler?

I have a friend that tickles me lightly everywhere but there’s two types of tickling (the light one and the deeper one) and I want to tell him I’d like to try the deeper one and for him to apply more pressure when it comes to my sides but I don’t know how to go about it.

How have y’all gone about giving feedback to someone who isn’t part of this community?

Depends on how much he knows about it being your thing and not just a playful activity. If he knows, you can literally tell him like "hey, when tickling me, if you want a better reaction maybe you should try these spots and do it more like this", and show him in some manner, or describe it. I doubt you'll get a change in his behavior without him being aware what to do and why.

An another trick is to do the same thing to him you would like done to you, and hope he imitates it.

I think the best feedback is your genuine and natural response to what tickles and what doesn't.

I’ve been in that exact situation before! The best way is to be direct but playful and positive.

Something like this usually works well:

“Hey, I really love when you tickle me… but I actually like it a lot more when you use firmer pressure, especially on my sides and ribs. The light stuff feels nice, but when you dig in more and really go for it I lose it way harder. Can you try squeezing and poking deeper next time? I promise I’ll react more 😂”

Most people who already enjoy tickling you will be excited to hear what makes you react stronger. Just frame it as “this turns me on more / makes it more fun for me” rather than criticism.

If he’s nervous about going harder, you can add “You can start slow and build up, I’ll let you know if it’s too much.”
