how do you "make" a gathering?

Just wondering what is required/needed to host a tickle gathering; the steps involved and everything?
Anybody have any clues on how to do this?😕 🙂 😀 😀

TIL...I suppose that this would depend on what kind of gathering you want it to be. That makes all the difference in where it could be held, how many could attend, what activities could/couldn't take place, etc.

For us, in the beginning stages of organizing a gathering in CT for this summer... We're simply putting the word out to people who may be interested. We'll be looking for a park with a pavilion and swimming so that people can enjoy themselves in a variety of ways. Ours will be a social gathering of people who happen to be into tickling. It will be up to each person to do as they please AFA any tickling goes (provided, of course, that it doesn't go against the freedom of another to decliine). We're going to keep this first gathering very simple and casual...a picnic where everyone can bring what they like, with us organizing things and most likley taking care of drinks and such.

If we were looking at an indoor facility, there would be many other considerations to look at. That's why we're starting out this way. Besides, having swimming may encourage people to wear things that make them somewhat more "accessible". LOL

IF you build it, they will come.


You can go a few routes here.

You can send private invites to those you already know and or trust.

You can post an OPEN invite and see who is interested then just host the party.

You will of course have to have the location for a gathering and know how many you will be able to fit comfortably in said location.

All in all it is rather EASY to have a gathering. The hard part is getting everyone on the same page to be able to attend on that given day.

I started the Hyenas Club for JUST such intentions. To get people together.
I held them in neutral locations.

MY first gathering brought only 4.
The second 8.
The third 12 or 13( a few no shows or it would have been 16)
The 4th, brought 19(there were supposed to be 60)which was the Chairity Event this past November 10th.

The great thing is you can start with a just a few friends who are all into tickling. My first party last year brought 3 from around the country (another was on his way but the airline had other ideas). This year there were 7. We were all friends online and had known each other for a while. I'm in the process of planning another southern gathering - this one will be a little more open and will hopefully bring back some of the faces I know and love as well as a few new faces.

There are alot of folks on here that will help with questions and suggestions. Just ask!

Essentially, though, it's a variant of the way in which the bdsm community makes their play parties and munches, combined with common support group methodologies. I just read up on such, and drafted a plan. It's easy to delta from this. NEST does it differently, for instance, and that works. MidWest NEST is similar, and that works.
