How do you organize?

Hi, my Tickletheater-Folder holds now over 4.000 files. On the one hand, this is positive and nice, on the other hand it prevents me from searching in this folder because it takes a lot of time!

I think many people share that problem.
For example, at first I want to have a lot of pics and clips, but after a time, because of this developement, they become like my filecorpse (don't know if the word exists in english, just translated it from german) .

HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE your folders? The other problem would be if I started always a new folder, then I would have several hundred folders and I will forget a lot of files because I can't assign them!

burn them to disk....by month you saved them...body parts involved...pics or clips...however you want

Hmm....I just have a folder for each subject, then within the folder I have little subfolders.
Like This

Tickling
Asian, Black, White
Nude Clothed
Topless pants
Bottomless shirt


And so on and so forth.

I use sub-folders as well, I try to separate toons and pictures and organize them in the following way:

body tickle: Pictures of tickling all over the body
body pose: models posing (no tickling)
feet tickle: only feet tickling pics
feet fetish: pictures of foot adoration
feet pose: pictures of close-up shots of feet
toon tickle: non anime toon tickling
anime tickle: anime toon tickling
toon pose: cartoon non-tickling posing images
vids: subcatagorized into: foot fetish, tickling, mainstream, toons

And hten what I do is setup a "new folder" and dump everything in there; then after the browsing session is over, I sort it right away. Its a royal pain but if you force urself to do it then and there, you'll be thankful later...

My nightmare tho isn't putting everything in its proper folder; its file names. A lot of files have really crap names: non-descriptive, random characters etc.

Thankgoodness for ACDsee, its making the process of batch-renaming the files so much easier; I'm going as far as putting all pictures from the same series in incremental names (fpt_0001.jpg) for example. Its a royal pain, but doing a lil bit each day. In the end my stuff is pretty well organized; and thanks to renaming the files I can find what I want.

And yes, I'm pretty anal about all my files, my PC is actually a heck of a lot cleaner than my own room lol

I do the same thing with the new folder, RTL. I dump everything in there and when it gets big enough, I copy the files to either floppy disk or a CD-RW and then move them to the correct folders. (My PC is also much tidier than my workspace 😉 )
