How do you tie toes?!

Here I am, playing with my new stocks I'm making, and I've come undone working out how to add toe-ties! I've got a secure fastener on top, it's moreso working out how to actually have the string. How do you know length, what knots to tie etc!

Anyone?

Some things to try that I've either seen or tried: Zip-ties, pipe cleaners (also adds some constant tickling in the toes), basic string (just tie it like you tie a shoe), etc.

Use some flat medium to wide shoe string. It's cheap, so you can buy as much as you need for $5, $10 if you're crazy about toe tying. You might also want to consider putting additional string fasteners on the front of the stocks at or below the balls of the feet. This way, you can bend the toes back farther and tighter than just fastening them to the top of the stocks. You can further immobilize them by placing fasteners at the arch side and outer side of each foot. This way, you minimize sideways movement as well. Happy tickling.
