How I color line art!

Hello everyone, I have this guide on my dA gallery but I'd like to share it right here for all of you.

Here is the basic summary of how i color my line art.

One thing to keep in mind is that after the shading step, you could even go further and open the .psd in Painter to give the piece a more painterly feel to it like i've done in my latest piece. I'll make a guide for that later on. The guide right here shows the photoshop approach to shading.

One important thing to know when you're doing it, rather than having the line art layer on the bottom, have it on the top set to multiply instead, this alows for far more freedom to add layers to the piece.

VERY helpful and informative. I cant draw line art to save my life, but i'm transitioning my normal poser art into "fake" line art to color to switch from realism to comic-bookish, and this is really a good guide to go on. thanks a lot.
