How important is a sense of humor in relationships?

Anyone who has to put up with me for any length of time had better have a good sense of humor.
 
Some guys like to be easy-going and humourous with the people they date, and others are extremely serious. You want a humourous person, but at the same time you may not want someone who can't take anything seriously. But of course, that's up to your personal taste.
