I was mostly brought into it when I was a teen with a boyfriend who was really into it. I didn't have a whole lot of tickling in my life during childhood so can't say I was into it all of my life.

That would be true in my case. Tickling is an "added bonus" for me, and I became interested in it a few years later than my primary kink, although due to a religious upbringing I did not actually experiment with either until my late teens.
