After being pretty distant from the theater for the last few months due to personal and work related reasons, only making a few momentary visits to do my modly duties, I'm finally in a position where I can become a bit more active and reconnect with my fellow TT'ers! And what better way to start than replacing the ancient "Would you change your fetish" poll with a shiny new one! And with any good poll, I shall include the backstory to how I conjured up the poll and a scenario to which the poll is set around!
Backstory
I was browsing DeviantArt today, something that I hadn't done in a while, to explore the tickle-related art work when I stumbled across this piece by the incredibly talents Caroo. And one thing struck me... the time remaining. On a lot of art pieces that involves robotics, you tend to see timers with a rather large amount of time remaining before they are deactivated. Some being a few hours, others as long as a week. So it got me thinking... how long do you think you can actually last when subjected to a rigorous tickling onslaught? Or, if you're one who frequently endures this kind of tickling, how long can you last?
Scenario
To level the playing field, I shall conjure a scenario which should even out all a fair few of the variables.
You have been attached to a machine designed to isolate your most ticklish area. So if your feet are your most ticklish, it will bind your toes back, spread them and isolate your feet in such a way that they are unable to move. Or if your armpits are your most ticklish, your arms will be raised and locked in position with your upper body and head fastened to prevent and sideways motion. You get the idea. The ticklish area is stripped bare and a special oil is applied that heightens the sensations to what I shall call the "optimum" level so that you're at your peak level of ticklishness at the time. And this oil is reapplied at regular intervals to maintain your level of ticklishness throughout. The machine has appendages that have been designed by a cohort of scientists and doctors so that they feel just like a humans, and computer programmers have worked on a partial-AI for the machine so that it alternates and varies the tickling motions just like a well skilled tickler. Basically think of the machine as a well trained, very skilled tickler that isn't vulnerable to fatigue and can continue to tickle indefinitely. The machine can also alternate between various tools, such as feathers, brushes (hair, toothbrush, electric toothbrush etc.), electric flosser, wartenberg wheel, pen, comb etc. etc.
The machine has been set to tickle in one hour blocks where it will pause for five minutes to rehydrate you, apply oil, attend to an itch you might have and so on.
Consider any other issue that might hinder the tickling as negligible (eg. cramping for being bound for so long).
The machine is programmed not to free you until you say the words "I Quit" or pass out. So basically when you've either mentally had enough or physically had enough.
The question is, how long do you think you can last? The responses are set out in "one hour rounds", up to the point where the machine breaks to rehydrate you and such. If you don't think you could make it to the end of a certain round, select the round you're leading up to. Example: Think you can finish one round but not quite finish the second? Choose "Up to 2 rounds".
It will be interesting to see how well people can fare on here. 😉
