Your IMs, address books, what have you...I've had the same email addy for years and have literally hundreds of people on my lists, some who I've never even spoken with. Since it's spring and I'm avoiding dealing with the house 😉 what do y'all think is a fair amount of time to keep someone on, you've never, or rarely communicate with?

If it's not someone you talk to all the time or haven't in sometime I think I'd delete them

Well, in my house cleaning I LOVE to throw things away and I'm like that with numbers, addresses etc... I like my life to be uncluttered... I get rid of things often and I rarely regret it.
 
I'm a total packrat~sentimental about everything~I HATE getting rid of stuff. And people too, well, unless they deserve it...

My issues are unfortunately genetic! All but one of my sisters is a packrat. My mom was such a horrible packrat, it took over a month to clean her place out after she died. Stuff was everywhere!

I have issues with letting go......I can't help myself!!!! :veryhappy

Somewhere between one and two years, then delete them.

For Instant Messaging. If i dont feel like i connect with you in some way (with interests or hobbies) or your just really totally boring when i'm talking to you. Then your BLOCKED and also DELETED off of my buddie list. simple as that :dogpile:

I don't care if your a girl with the best looking boobs in the whole world. If you bore me or i don't connect with you. See ya! :wavingguy
 
It depends....some things I keep forever and other I toss out fairly quickly. I tend to pack rat things a fair bit.

If I've never talked to them, I would trash it, but otherwise if you remember them and you can think of ANY reason to keep them around, go ahead, you'll never know when you'll need to talk to someone in podunk louisiana 😉 just archive things an get them out of the way though.
 
Well I'm such a neat freak so if I don't talk to them regular or it's not someone I have met in person, I delete them just to keep the list somewhat down. I figure if they want to get in contact, they'll find me somehow.

But the chance of that happening is remote Steph. If they have not spoke to you in over a year they have either moved on with their lives or they will understand that they have not been in touch so you are likely to forget. Yanno what I mean?

But don't y'all have those friends who pop in and out of your life from time to time, just to say they were thinking about you, only to disappear again for months after? Course, I'd probably remember their names if they'd been around that long, I'd hope anyway. I'm better at faces than I am with names.
