I was lucky enough never to really brake a bone. Apparently i have really strong ones....really really strong 😀
I did have and still have lots of muscle and ligament problems. But that has to do with my flat feet, slightly dislocated knees and one leg longer than the other 😉
I did experience a partial fracture on the knee discs (meniscus)....that was due to a car crash when i was 16 years old. And mind you, if i did not brake any bone at that one, i will never brake. The car was totally smashed straight where i was, to a point where i was pulling glass shards from my body during 1 full week. I do not remember the actual impact but the second i open my eyes i imediately had to spit because i had glass even inside my mouth. I had glass even inside my underwear!!!!!!!!!! To give you an idea of the impact, i had a razor blade on my bag on the trunck, right behind my seat, this blade was torn to dust!
My knee was hit quite hard by part of the door on my side, as my legs were left in place while the rest of the body moved defensively away from the door (what probably saved me). I had to make a lot of ice and had trouble climbing steps and bending my knee during 2 weeks. I was advised not to play soccer seriously anymore unless i wanted to have surgery to correct it. Altough i still kept playing and just changed my style a bit for the following months 😀
Today i think it´s totally ok altough for years i would get my knee "stuck" like once or twice a year. It would be really painfull to bend it then and looked like something was braking 😀
I´m not sure also if i once broke my little toe when a quite heavy piece of furniture fell over it 😛 😛 😛 But i think it didnt really broke.....there was some blood for maybe one week but i kept playing soccer anyway despite de pain so maybe it was not broken. Altough i did my best to held it tight in place for the following week and had my sock full of blood on the next practice 😛
Strained ankes, wrists, twice fell head on into marble and oppened both my chin and nose but we just plastered it and it went ok.....altough really bloody both of these 😛 😛 😛 i remember thinking i was going to dye 😀 But my mother was quite a positive person and she would not get scared with blood.....also helped she was on the health care business 😀 So pretty much i could have all health care at home and no need for hospitals and stuff 😉
