When i found this site some years back, I was thrilled there are thousands more close to me who share in the same fetish. Started to see some awesome clips, new bondage ideas I never thought of.

The only problem is, THERE WAS NO ONE TO TALK TO ABOUT IT. I've told a few girls her and there that I am into tickling but I know they don't think it to be the degree that most of us are. If it weren't for this site, I wouldn't talk about my fetish at all.

It is frustrating a lot not being able to talk to many people on the same level as you are with this fetish.

Any of you have friends who really know how much you are into tickling? If so, how was there reaction?

My biggest fear is telling the wrong person then i get 50 phone calls the next day from all my friends as most people don't know how to keep things quiet. Or losing a friend thinking I'm a little crazy...
 
I've told 3 people.

I knew about my fetish when I was like ..10 .. so I told my best friend at the time. She didn't really understand .. just thought it was funny. Now we hate each other ... so I always wonder if she let that slip... oh well if she did.

Prom night I told one of my friends because we were having a bonding moment. Her fetish is much weirder than mine anyways.. and I just talked to her the other day about it and she hasn't told anyone and I trust her.

The last person I told is my best best best friend. I told her a couple weeks ago. She was totally cool with it and thinks it fits my personality because I laugh all the time. She said she is surprised she didn't know earlier because we did a tickling contest together for YouTube. haha I love her to death though and she is so supportive of me.
 
I told a select few people and also an ex of mine leaked it out, so ive got no idea how many peopel know now,....to be honest, I stopped caring who knew a while back, 🙂

Cant do any real harm.
 
Aside from those on this forum, six to nine people know about my fetish.

Same here.I don't go around advertising it,but i'm not going to deny it should the subject ever come up.I'm to old to worry about that kind of thing and what other people might think.🙂
 
well, i told 2 people at first, one of them has kept this very well, the other "accidentally" shouted it out in front of my over mates.
and those friends told theirs so i reckon that nearly 50-60 people know, and only 1 think that it is weird, and he is a pure straight vanilla.

its nice to have people know, that way if i let something slip, its not a big disaster.

as to the reactions, one found it weird, another, makes snide comments, and the rest just do not find it such a big deal.
i think some think that i was just joking.

the one who thought it was weird was actually scared of me for a while.

I've told 2 of my closest friends. We were hanging out, talking, and somehow it led to them asking me questions. I'm naturally a quiet person, I don't say much. So they asked me to tell them something that they don't know, and it got serious and I was hesitating. Since we were sitting around the table, they both reassured me that whatever is said here stays here.

So I told them, and I was pleased that they took it in stride. Neither one ridiculed me or my fetish. Surprisingly to me they were curious about it. Then eventually as most conversations go with us, it got silly, but they took it well and I'm glad I told them.

I think my brothers and my parents might suspect something, but they haven't said anything and I'm not going to say anything to them.

I guess I'm somewhat cautious about keeping it a secret. I wouldn't want just anyone to know that I have a tickling fetish considering where I live. Small towns = gossip. Yeah, that would spread like wildfire if anyone around here found out.
 
Good to see you again, Waitin2betickled. You and I have met before at New York munches in past years. And there's actually a connection there, because I remember one time when I was biding my time in Bryant Park, on my way to one such much, and I spotted a friend of mine walking through it. I took care not to let her see me, because I didn't want her to ask me where I was going; that's how secretive I was about it. A couple of years later I told her all about it, and she said, "That is so cool!" (Or maybe more the "kewl" pronunciation.)

So there was a time when I told nobody, and then there came a point when I started telling more people. One thing that helped me make the transition was that, in the artistic community that I'm involved with in New York (which is where I know that particular close female friend), I presented a work of my own which implied that I knew something about the fetish scene. But I hasten to add something: an artistic community, especially one which involves acting and performance art, is precisely where you're around the people hardest to shock and most supportive of sexual freedom. I've also made the mistake of telling the wrong person, someone I had just met who seemed to be a prospective new friend. From a blog entry that I subsequently saw, I know that she felt as if she had been molested by a dangerous sicko, all from the words "I have a couple of fetishes. I'm into tickling and spanking."

So, what I'm saying is, quite a number of my friends and acquaintances know all about it, but I've learned to be careful whom I tell and where I tell it. One place where I absolutely would not mention it is in my present place of employment. (I teach college.) I've also learned not to tell it to anybody whom I've just recently met. Actually, I think what it comes down to is this: since it's a fetish, and since fetishes by definition are sexual, it only makes sense to talk about this fetish with someone with whom you'd be comfortable talking about any other specific details of your sex life, which may or may not include your parents, may or may not include siblings and best friends, but most certainly does not include the person you just met on the train and most certainly does not include any co-worker with whom you have not established a solid friendship external to the job.

I like to keep this quiet.. for some reason. I dont like ppl know ing my business.. some things are personal
 
The present fiancee... a few ex-girlfriends.... and given the paper-thin walls at college dorms, the neighbors too.

I'm going to start with girlfriends of mine that has no connection with my friends. Hopefully see might get one curious enough they might consider understanding what I mean. ;-)

I haven't told anyone about how tickling women turns me on, and only a few that I like feet.I don't think they're aware of exactly how much I get turned on by certain types of female feet,though.Gossip, or potential gossip has always been a very real concern.Its been real difficult for me in having to hide this fetish as it just probably doesn't fit in to mainstream.I remember almost 5 years ago, going over to someone's house and a girl in her 20's was there propping her bare feet up on the coffee table,couch, heck even the window sill once.Her feet were great looking, I was REALLY turned on by just seeing em' & sitting near her.There's no way to really start talking right off the bat about something like that,at least for yours truly.It was so arousing being so close to her bare feet, it was unreal.
