How many ticklers is too many ticklers?

Ok for those who have participated or witnessed gang tickling, what do you think an ideal number of ticklers is?
If the number is too high do you feel lost in the shuffle so to speak during the tickling?
If there was one ticklee and say 50 ticklers. Is that too much? How can everyone feel like thy are participating and not being left out?

I have been at gathering where one lee was tickled by 8 or 9 lers. That is about the maximum possible, since even with 8 or 9 not every ler could easily get a hand on the lee.

I would say it's almost the same as playing poker at the table: the maximum is usually about 9 players 🙂

Boy, I don't know: once there are two people tickling me, I'm in a frenzy; there are already more hands than I can even hope to deflect, and tickle-signals are traveling in unbidden from multiple sites, and self-defense has fallen away as an option. I don't think I can laugh any harder than I'm already laughing, so I don't know that adding two or three or five more people would make me any more frenzied. Not that I'm volunteering to find out.

I disagree. If you have two ticklers with a different style I think it increases the sensation. Brain has a difficult time dealing with this, imo

I'm dying to do biggest gang tickle ever. I was ruthlessly tickled by two men for the first time this weekend. I was tightly bound there was no mercy at all. I loved it. I'm "unbreakable" it seems. I almost passed out once because I was standing up with arms overhead but I never said stop. I'd love t experience a hand on every inch of me.

I've been tickled by a few people at once, but not so many that anyone was crowded out. I think some positions are better than others - a hogtie wouldn't be much good, but the splits would be pretty great.

I've found its a different dynamic depending on the number: one's intimate, two is intense, etc. I wouldn't mind finding out what the maximum is

Even half of that, 25 sounds unrealistically high.

My real estimate... Hmm, Id guess it would have to be 5, maybe 6 MAXIMUM ticklers on one person at once.

There ONLY so many ticklish places a person has!
Plus, you need to account for the space that half a dozen people take up. I only see them being comfortable if the Lee was laying on their back, and there's 3 ticklers on each side.
(2) for (Lower), (middle), and (upper) with one person on each side of the segments.


Personally I hate being gang tickled. This may sound strange, but I think tickling is a very intimate experience and should only occur between people no are very close <3 like a partner, or a best friend.
The MOST number of people who have ever tickled me at once, was just 2.

Maybe I'm forgetting an instance or two, where there were more that that.
But if that did happen - oddly enough, I wouldn't remember it is vividly because it didnt "mean as much" to me as it would if just one or two people I'm close with did it to me.

(!!! OH as soon as I finished typing this I just remembered one! There were i think 4 or 5 people tickling me at once. But that's just it... I don't know if there 4 or 5. So... My memory of it is less sentimental.


Does anyone else think that way ; about tickling being this intimate? .... Or am I just really weird, and people are making fun of me in their minds as they read this post?

I always wandered that myself, what is the realistic upper limit for number of ticklers?
I would say it depends on style of tickling. For fingers/nails I could imagine anywhere between 4 and 8 to be the upper limit, mostly depending on person tickled, and 6 being the optimal middle number in that estimate. 6 ticklers could nicely cover most weaknesses of a victim. 1 for each foot, 1 for legs, 1 for tummy and waist, 1 or 2 for armpits/arms/ribs. It is possible to add more, but not needed. If you can't break someone with 6 lers, I sure don't think so you could do it with 12, unless...

...feather irritating. I know some people are not sensitive to that and are having question mark overhead when seeing feathers mentioned for tickling. As someone who is most sensitive to this kind of tickling, I do have an idea how could it be.
For that kind of tickling, if focused, could host more lers strategically placed all over victim, but you need good conditions like nice bondage table. I could see something like 2 ticklers per feet, 1 for each leg, 2 for waist and belly, 1 for each armpit + parts around and 1 to focus on neck/face/ears. That is total of 11. Yeah, I can potentially see that work in reality if there is one gang leader who will make sure ticklers are really nicely positioned to not get in the way to each other. After all, ticklers are like at least 30 cm from each other and target completely different areas, except those on feet. They need to perform nice teamwork to nicely cover all weaknesses on each foot.

Would that be more effective than 5 ticklers? I have no idea. Never tried it, but I'd definitely like to do those kind of experiments. Hell yeah.
