How popular are clips that don’t show the ticklee’s face?

Hello everyone,

I’ve been wondering about clips in which you can see a ticklee’s feet being tickled but her face is never shown. How popular are they? Personally I’m not a big fan, as I feel that knowing what the ticklee looks like and getting to see her facial expressions (at least part of the time) adds a lot to a scene. I also can’t imagine that the demand for such clips is as high as for standard tickling clips. But there must be a clientele for these clips anyway, otherwise they wouldn't be offered for sale, right?

I’ve been toying with the idea of giving it a try, if only occasionally. I’m not super enthusiastic about the faceless approach, but it did occur to me that it might allow me to work with a few more models who otherwise wouldn't be comfortable doing a shoot because they don’t want their face to appear in a fetish video. I also assume it would be ok to offer a lower salary for such shoots. But maybe the demand for such clips simply isn’t high enough for it to be worth the trouble? Any thoughts?

I'm with you. I suppose if the lee had a fantastic laugh or there was great dialogue/chemistry between ler/lee then that might amount to something. But I skip right past faceless clips. The personality of the lee is part of what I enjoy, plus a way to gauge the genuineness of the reaction. And in my mind's eye, I unfairly assume that the lee isn't very attractive if all we see are the feet. Thanks for asking.

Personally I don't care if the lee's face is shown. What I want to see are the tickling fingers.

i personally don't like videos that don't show the face but that might be partly because in those videos it's usually just foot tickling and I don't like just foot tickling videos.

Going to go a little off track, but I remember when there was not an abundance of video and I actually use to dig audio tapes because you could use your imagination and turn it into whatever you wanted it to be! As a matter of fact I use to have quite a few of them on my website back in the day ;-)

peace out,
daddy

To me the face is important, attractive or not as you see the response to each tickle, be it a shaking head, eyes popping wide, a huge grin etc. I can totally understand a model wanting to hide her identity, but if they're willing to be shown then take advantage of it.

Cheers, everybody,

Face is important it adds to the whole clip, adds more seen reactions.

I have bought one or two clips where the 'lee is blindfolded or has a mask covering her eyes, but never face blurred out or hidden entirely. The face and seeing the reactions is a big part of the whole experience for me 🙂

Yes the face adds to the video, however, I would hate to see a producer pass on the chance to tickle a ticklish female if they were willing to do it.

If she's a good laugher, I don't mind if I don't see her face, so long as I see the tickling.

Stuck in Stocks springs to mind.

Just checked their clip store. Indeed, they do seem to specialize in faceless clips. They have quite an impressive catalog, too: literally hundreds of clips. And it seems they’ve been adding clips since 2005. If they managed to accumulate that many clips and to survive for that long, they must have some level of commercial success, right?

But the most important thing is that you're "not super enthusiastic about the faceless approach." Why do something you don't really care for just because it might bring in a few buyers?

I’m not sure. I guess it has something to do with the fact that I’ve had basically no luck recruiting new models over the last few months. I didn't try that hard, but I don't think I tried any less than usual either. It makes me feel like I’m in a rut. So I suppose part of me is hoping that offering potentially less intimidating shoots might slightly increase my chances of hiring and working with new models, thus boosting my morale and my motivation.

But that might not be the real reason. I’m really not sure why I’m considering this. It really started with me being curious about how popular such clips really are and wanting to ask about it on the TMF. The idea of making a few such clips myself was just an afterthought. I figured I might not have much to lose by giving it a try, if only for a couple of clips.

Then again, it seems Chaz36 has thought of a good reason for doing it:

Yes the face adds to the video, however, I would hate to see a producer pass on the chance to tickle a ticklish female if they were willing to do it.

Good point. I might not be a fan of faceless clips, and they might not be as popular as “regular” tickling clips, but the fact remains that even if I don't film a models' a face I still get to see what she looks like in person. And I get to tickle her, or at least see her get tickled. It might be a fun experience just for that reason, even if the resulting clips don’t sell very well.

But then again, the time and effort I spend on shooting and editing faceless clips is time and effort I could be spending on shooting and editing clips that show the models’ faces. So I’m still not sure I'll give it a try, even if it does help me find a few more models to work with. It might not even attract that many more models anyway, if at all, who knows?

I thought you may have been referring to Stuck In The Stocks. He started doing that if I recall right that he was tickling friends who didn't want to be seen. Odd concept, but hey, if he's happy. I prefer seeing the face too myself. When I was doing video clips for myself, there was one model who responded who asked that I not shot her face as she didn't want to be seen. I explained to her this was only for my collection and it wouldn't be posted anywhere, but she insisted I not include her face in the shoot. I passed.

The Evil Ticklers clip 'Suzanne Gagged and Tickled' has, as the title suggests, Suzanne gagged, but in a latex mask. You see her eyes, but most of her face is covered. She's got an amazing laugh, but the gag reduces it a lot. Her reactions convey her hysteria and ticklishness, and it's a great clip but would have been so much better if her laughter wasn't restrained.

In her other clip she's only blindfolded, so maybe she's just shy!

Cheers, everybody,

I like to see her head, but her face can be covered.

I definitely also want to see the face of the 'lee. To me it's all about the reactions of the 'lee, and you see most of the reactions in the face. Therefore the face and the tickling are equally important to me.

I must say, I also prefer to see the lee's facial ekspression and her reactions. So I don't watch faceless clips, but I read this thread, I'm al little curious to see,if I am alone.

I like to watch the facial expressions of the lee being tickled. However some models probably prefer privacy so they do not wish for their face to be shown.

For me, bottom line: it just depends. Yea, I like see how attractive the model is & how she responds to the tickling _ but I think it just adds to the entire experience.

If the ticklee's feet are absolutely flawless, ticklish & just gorgeous, then I enjoy them very much! As a labeled "foot guy," there's something about an extreme close-up of really nice feet being tickled.
