How soon is the world going to end?

Climate change won't cause the world to end, not will nuclear war. Maybe the human race, perhaps all life but certainly not the world. The phrase really annoys me.

honestly, what's up with the stupid jokes. I have yet to hear one person fully articulate to me why so many try to paint the leader of the free world as being unintelligent. It boggles my freaking mind. this is coming from the population in the world that has the highest debt and lowest savings ratios in the entire world, while also being in the strongest most bountiful economy accusing a soon to be prominent historical figure of being dumb. where is the logic?

Funny thing, but I actually don't remember electing him to be our leader. But then I'm in Europe, where we are trying our damndest to contain him so that he doesn't run amock.

Actually, it's been theorized that there is enough destructive power in the world's combined nuclear arsenal that if a nuclear war broke out and all the missiles were fired, it could well destroy the world itself, along with all life. Just cause the Earth to shatter completely into little bits. Terrifying thought, eh?... :wooha: :wooha: :wooha: :wooha: :wooha:

My greatest concern is that climate change may make it difficult or impossible to sustain human life long before the planet itself is consumed in the eventual supernova. We have very little power to alter the climate deliberately, and live essentially at nature's whim. I don't know if "greenhouse emissions" are the true cause of the global warming phenomenon, but something is definitely having an effect, which I find alarming.
