How to convert youtube videos and download

I've seen ppl do it and I wanna know if anybody out there knows how to download videos off youtube. Is there a way to convert and download someone help me plz!!

Go to keepvid.com Then you copy and paste the URL of the video on Youtube that you wanna save. Then it'll give you the option of saving either a low-quality flv file, or a higher quality mp4 file (It'll be near the bottom of the screen. Don't be fooled, because if you're like me, your eyes skim directly over things that look like ads, which this isn't.). Right click which one you want, and choose "Save Target as". From there, you should be good to go.

The latest realplayer also gives you a download option...
It's just that realplayer is resource heavy 🙁

I use Keepvid to download off Youtube then convert the file to a wmv using Windows Moviemaker of Prism video converter. Works for most clips.

I use Keepvid, download it as an MP4. Filesize is pretty big, but no biggie.

Use the K-Lite Codec Pack to play the MP4 if you can't already - also lets Windows Media Player play a LOT of other things.

FLV format from YT tends to be really abysmal quality. Would not advise it.
