He looks pretty good early, but it's just the preseason, after all. Any thoughts about what the Eagles could do this year and how Kolb will perform? Did Philadelphia make the right move?
I always liked McNabb and still do. The Eagles management caved in to the Eagles fans which would never accept anything less than a Super Bowl from McNabb and traded him.
I'm guessing with Kolb, the best they'll do is break even at 8-8.
I don't think he'll do any worse than McNabb. I think he'll be a good QB and the Eagles will contend for the playoffs this year. They'll just miss the playoffs at worst.
I just wanted to see where the consensus was. Lots of people have them pegged at 8-8 for some reason. I'll say 10-6 and flirting with a playoff spot, depending on (ironically) how their defense performs.

Well what the rest of the world seems to forget is how many times him and Jeffery Lurie promised Super Bowl wins. Now given 12 years and couldn't win just one I think the fans have a rigth to ask for a change, People don't watch the Eagles week in and week out and see how for 3 quarters is either throwing at there feet or 10 feet over there head. Now with that said the Eagles dropped a even better player in Westbrook and for some reason it's a youth movement and nothing is mentioned about that. I liked McNabb cause you can count on a winning season but the playoffs were always a big IF. I hope McNabb goes 14-2 this year with both losts to the birds 🙂 and were 15-1. As far as how will kolb do this year depends on Rieds play calling, if he can rush more and not put the pressure on Kolb I see another 10 to 12 years of the same QB till we kick him to the curb.
