A friend of mine was asking what it felt like and why people find it torturous. I was unable to answer her because it's always been such a normal feeling for me that's been a part of me!

How would you describe 1) The feeling of being tickled, 2) Why it feels torturous when it continues and you can't stop it?

It’s kinda like getting good and stoned and going to a George Carlin show but more intense
 
The sensation itself is like a pleasant version of being itchy, until it gets to the point that you can't stop squirming reflexively.
 
When something should hurt, but you’re really stoned so instead it’s just really funny, mixed with a sneeze, but better
