The first time I was tickled was an amazing experience. My ler didn't tie me, she simply tried to hold my ankles against her body. Happily, that let me break free for momentary relief. 🙂 She just used her fingernails on my bare soles, but it was wild! First time I was tickled as an adult was delightful. I was 22 and was flirting with a really cute guy at a college party. He took me upstairs to kiss me. Every case is different. Some people are very timid and nervous. Others want to jump right in. Some have had experience with other aspects of BDSM, others haven't and don't want to. Ideally, I'll talk with the person in question and ask what some of their fantasies along these lines might be. If they don't have any (or can't share them), then I suggest a few possibilities and let the 'lee decide what appeals most.

In the end I've done a range of things, from a full bondage tickling session, no holds barred, to a light touch and play session. In a couple of cases I've even allowed the 'lee to tie me first, and get a feel for it from the controlling position. If you and your 'lee are both comfortable switching then that can be a great icebreaker for the most nervous ones.

Well that is the key...what the lee wants should be pretty much what the lee gets unless you don't want to be invited back again...

One of the first things I do with anyone I meet is how do THEY like to be tickled or with what do they like to be tickled....
I try to do whatever I can do to make the lee comfortable and so we both have a good time so that I am invited back again.

It all depends on the 'lee. That's who I'm there for, though no doubt, I'm getting something out of it too... But it's pragmatic to give them a good experience they can be comfortable with so that they do come back...

I guess I'd start with slow and easy explorational free-tickling (untied) escalating to a little tickle-wrestling, and continue from there according to the desires and capacities of the 'lee. It's an intuitive experience, and you can't simply ask about everything they might want (though I can be accomodating if they mention they like something special), and you want to be able to show them new experiences, new ticklish spots and let them learn new things about themselves and their abilities and boundaries.
