I want to know if I'm ticklish or not, I've found out its a scientific fact that nearly all people cannot tickle themselves, and since I know no-one to tickle me does anyone have any ideas how I could find out.

Go get a pedicure. If you're ticklish, you'll find out, and so will the pedicurist, especially if you accidentally kick her in the head due to ticklishness.

Frankie's advice is sound. Another idea would be to go to a masseuse. Once the massage is underway, ask the masseuse to try her best to tickle you. Explain that you are trying to confirm that you are not ticklish in the slightest. She might say no, but I think there's a good chance she might do it.

Actually, that "fact" is based largely on the theory that people do not want to be tickled and will therefore stop the moment it begins to tickle. I know many people, myself included, who can tickle themselves. If you want to be tickled, use the right touch and are ticklish, it will most likely tickle. So, if you haven't tried based upon that study, you might give it a shot.

One of the things to remember is that different people respond to things differently. Some people require a very firm, almost digging touch in order for it to feel tickley. Others, like myself, respond only to the lightest of touches. The vast majority of folks are likely somewhere in between. THere are also many for whom the kind of touch necessary will vary from one time or spot to another.

To get back to your question, however... I used to easily get friends to tickle me simply by messing around and teasing until they'd tickle me just to shut me up. If they were resistant, I'd tickle them first. It doesn't work with everyone. But, if you really want to know and are willing to take a chance, it's worth a shot.

I thought my pedicure idea was pretty good. I get pedicures regularly and as if that's not enough, after my pedicure I get to play with HER feet! (We've been friends for a long time and we both love the pleasures of tickling, of course).

Anyway... you want inconspicuous? In other words, you wanna find out for yourself if you're ticklish... with no interaction from other people, even a pedicurist? This'll be tough. I guess you could swab sugar water all over your body and then lie down outside and let the flies crawl all over you. That's bound to tickle, but it might be gross, especially if the fly just had lunch at Fido's Poop N' Scoop diner. Use sanitary flies.

I'm joking, of course.

Honestly, without any interaction from others I'm not sure what to tell you. Again, the pedicurist doesn't need to know that you're trying to figure out if you're ticklish or not. The moment she touches your feet (the light touch) and then uses that foot file or pumice stone on 'em (the firmer touch) you'll know at the end of the procedure just how ticklish you are.

Also, there is another tickling site that's for UK members but I can't recall what the name of it is. I'll do a little research and I'll let you know its name when I find it, unless one of our friendly members here knows which site I'm talking about.
