No, I love it when Howard starts his political rants. And I still find the show funny, often in the middle of the political rants. And I don't know what you mean that he's turned into something he said he would never become. To me, he's always been the embodiment of free speech and the spirit of Lenny Bruce, and I've felt this since the 80's. Also, I'm happy that there is someone with ratings talking loosely and honestly about the deep corruption in this adminstration, an adminstration that makes previous scumbags like Clinton, Reagan and Nixon look noble in comparasion. The "media" (which contrary to what ignorant people say) is not liberal, and has given Bush a free ride since day 1, even now they're being soft on him. If Clinton (who I did not like as a President) did even ONE thing that these scumbags get away with every day, there would have been an outcry and impeachment. I'm happy Howard is talking about this every day, and frankly, I don't mind if he does it even more. I like it alot better than when he was supporting Bush and this war that has sent my friends to Iraq, only to protect oil company's intrests.
I thought Howard's show was actually getting a little boring BEFORE he started getting political, I wasn't listening as much and I feel like this has energized him and the show, I tune in every day now and am frequently late for work! As far as being a big, rich crybaby...what can I say? I don't begrudge people making money off of their unique talents...better that than the way people like George W. Bush and his entrie cabinet make their money, which is basically by collaborating with the Saudi's. I say Howard, keep talking.
Lastly, he has had TWO great tickle chair segments in the last 3 weeks......as far as I'm concerned THAT is a major reason to tune in!
