hows this for a dream?

i leave on saturday for an eight day vacation, we are flying to st thomas in the us virgin islands then taking a ferry to st johns where we are renting a house. well last night i had this cool dream. we were bumped up to first class because of some error in DC. i was so excited to be finally flying first class. as in all dreams things are a great deal different than from real life, and first class was gigantic with really big leather chairs. and a buffet table. when we sat down we were in the second row. there were for some reason three seats behind us with two young women and a young guy. they began chatting with us and seemed amused at how excited i was about the trip, being in first class and the like. they found it endearing that after all the years of marriage, this would be our first honeymoon, both having been right out of college when we married and not having vacation time for a honeymoon. well anyway like all dreams for some reason the seats in front of us disappeared and we were in the front row. and the plane was doing weird maneuvers in the air which seemed perfectly normal but would have scared the crap out of me in real life. well we were sipping champagne and tilting the seats back really far to see how far back they would go when all of a sudden the one girl behind me reached up between the seats and began tickling my ribs. i giggled and she asked are you ticklish? i said omg are you kidding? i am so super ticklish that the lightest touch sends me into giggles. anyway they all smiled at each other and invited us to a tickle party that they were giving that week at their house in st johns. i was like wow yes i'll be there david even said yes. now i know that was a dream he would never say yes. well the day for the party arrived and we got there. we mingled with them for a bit them asking how we liked the island. then right when the fun was about to start, damn it if i didnt wake up. soooo when i woke up i told david about the dream and being bumped up to first class. he was enjoying the dream til i said that about the tickle party. sighs now how was that for a dream? so when saturday comes and we get bumped up to first class.....

I like the dream. But, I think the reality of the delayed honeymoon is even nicer. I hope you have a wonderful time...tickles or no tickles.

thank you Ann i am a very modest person but i must say i deserve this vacation. its been a year from hell for me that i wouldnt wish on my worst enemy. thank you for your kind words.

I hate it how that happens when dreams always end just before the best bit and half an hour later when you’ve woken up properly more often than not you can’t remember the dream so no chance of finishing it of yourself 😡 This is why I always sleep past noon at weekends so my dreams always finish even if I can’t remember them 😀 But anyway what’s this about it being a year from hell , you found this forum which in turn introduced you to my superior wit and charm!!! 😉

Ah you know I’m only joking I hope you enjoy your delayed honeymoon you really deserve it. 🙂

At least you got tickled a little bit in the dream! I agree with Mark19...it always happens that you wake up just when it's getting really good...arghgh!
In any case have a great time...we'll miss you!!
