In keeping with the holidays, I'm just curious. How do feel about getting together with yours or your spouses relatives during the Christmas season?

this year i am looking forward to it. in the past i let my paranoia get the best of me regarding his parents and family. but i have changed significantly in the past few years. they always thought i was wasting my talent teaching privately when their other two daughters in laws are both professionals. one is a doctor, the other runs a shelter for abused women. and they both gave david's parents grandchildren, which i failed to do. but year before last i looked around at them and felt fine for the first time. i said to myself, they can accept me for i am or not, as long as i am fulfilled its none of their business. and now we get along great.

now last year i didnt have the spirit at all because mom had just died earlier in the year. didnt put up a tree, and only had outdoor lights. but this year, i feel it again and everything is up.
