my only guess would be is that this was the final episode and they needed a way to end on a climatic finish so they made her have a fight with the two main leads instead of just being defeated by a tickle trap and then made to forget her memories


i am still coping that maybe when the shows gets a season 2, theyll use the setup on a different character since the tickle scene in the manga was also supposed to be a showing of one of the characters powers to erase memories and she hasnt done that yet in this season (as far as I remember)

but thats also if this show is even getting a season 2

That sucks and this worries me when Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest season 2 comes out I hope they don’t skip the dream sequence tickle scene of Lucy being tickled tortured by robots hands and her in her swimsuit, it’s like perfect especially how it shown her feet get tickled

I wouldn't be surprised if it was like the Ayakashi Triangle scenario where we just got a still frame. Maybe they have to think about the budget and it would unfortunately make sense to pour more of it into the plot. Would be such a top-tier scene animated though, all over like it is, such blatent tickle-torture.
