I believe I vaguely recall seeing you on the forum before. Welcome back.

Word of advice though....don't beg. Just be casual and join in discussions to let people get to know you better. Before you know it, you'll have more friends than you know what to do with.

Also, you might try the International sub-forum here. You may find many from Europe to be friends with, perhaps even Italy.
