Well, I bopped on over and found the thread you were talking about, Jimboy(it's actually a derail over in the "How Many Tickling Message Boards Do You Belong To?"-thread). Apparently, it has to do with the amount of anime-style artwork to be found here? I have never cared for the style, myself, which may explain why I don't venture down into the artwork sections very often.

Otherwise, I cannot imagine(from what I've seen here since returning to regular posting) what the devil the bloke was referring to. The fact that several people then agreed is kinda skeevy. Is there some sub-forum I'm not aware of? I'd hate for anything to jeopardize the existence of this lovely place.

Ah, well. I personally feel that the accusations of cliquishness over there leveled by members here are equally unfounded, so it goes...


As to the member's ages: I am fully into middle-age now. I don't really care how old everyone else is(as long as they're legal). I'm not here for a hook-up, though, either. Just to chat/share stuff about our favorite topic. :happy:

They don't care that much. For whatever reason, the two boards have never liked each other, despite sharing (what I imagine) is a large chunk of the same members.

I think it has to do with The Powers That Be at TMF being stuffy and self-important. I've seen more than a few forums in my time that acted like that. If there's another one of similar topic, they'll do everything in their power to "hate on it" like it matters or anybody in the real world really gives a flying fuck.

Yeah this is true. TMF is bigger, but it's also a lot more faceless, whereas here it's a smaller community, and all the better for it IMO. Sort of the difference between a big city and a small town.

We've temp-banned those underaged users that we know about, and we've tried very hard to keep pedophiliac material off the boards, but we encourage TMF members to report inappropriate posts at TT to our mods rather than using TMF as the "TT Complaint Desk."

Well, I don't like to instill false worry, or get people riled for no reason, but yes - war is inevitable. It will be a long, bitter, drawn-out affair, and many members will switch sides or simply vanish during the course of it. We will be suspicious of one another, and the mods will have to double their ground troops to prevent the entire forum from being engulfed by flames. And once the proverbial smoke clears, if we don't destroy ourselves in the process, nothing will ever be the same again between us.

That's a worst-case scenario, admittedly, but a relative of TKLVR told me recently that "just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they aren't out to get you."
