What was up with the Max Fleisher Studios, hmm, the producers of the Popeye cartoons? Along with those scenes with Olive Oyl detailed above, there was a scene where Popeye is in the emergency room of a hospital, and one of the (male) doctors decides to test the unconscious Popeye's reflexes by tickling his bare foot. Uh huh,.. yeah,.. that and maybe then some. Olive's "dangling" clip with Bluto depicted a foot fetishist's savoring the moment,... whereas the scene with the kittens pretty much shows Olive humping the air and, arguably, appearing to climax her brains out,......... struck me as 'way more than just suggestive. It would be "R" rated by today's standards, I imagine. They knew what they were doing.

Glad to see that at least a couple of other galvanizing images apart from Olive and April got mentioned.

I blame real life then... I saw more tickling in front of me when I was a kid, than in any cartoon... And it was not a lot, yet, when it happened, spontaneously, I, somehow, wished I was the one being tickled; sadly, I was almost never being tickled nor I had any chance to tickle someone. Back then, I did not understand why it was so exquisite for me to think about that. I think I still do not understand it.

I think I "got it" from April torture scene too. I was five or so, and in the room with some girls my age. Mi brain did the rest.

I blame my father! I think my tickling fetish was bound to emerge eventually. I'll never forget my first time witnessing real tickle torture. I was about 5 years old and heard my mom laughing uncontrollably from my parents bedroom. I peeped my head around the door and kind of froze and did not know what to make of what I was seeing. My dad had my mom pinned to the bed and was blowing massive raspberries on her stomach. She was going nuts lol. My mom saw me watching from the doorway and yelled out help! I just stood there and did not know what to do. My brother ran in and playfully jumped on the bed and said "get off mom!" Lol and that was it. Ever since then I had a obsession for tickling. Honestly I remember that one cartoon with the guy with the beard tickling. .....can't remember the toon. I think that was when I became self-aware.
