I Can't Get It Out Of My Head!!! (Worst Song Ever Recorded)

Hmmm...

But there's one song that, when I heard the opening guitar riffs, I thought, "Man, that's some kick ass playing", only to hear a guy start yodeling (yes, yodeling!), making the song suck, was "Hocus Pocus", by Focus!

I remember that song! When I heard the yodeling, it used to make me laugh out loud. Kind of like the 'oogah chakas' at the beginning of Blue Swede's "Hooked on a Feeling".

Lately, any time I hear Sheryl Crow come on the radio, I race for the tuning knob. Her songs are annoying and cloying and bourgeois, she's merely a less pretentious version of Celine to me. She's not real. Folks, ya know what's real? Janis. Now, she was for real! Let's see fucking Sheryl Crow sing like THAT.

If Janis Joplin had been prettier, you can bet she would have been even more popular than she was.

Another bad song: From 1972, "Jungle Fever", by Chakachas. It's an instrumental, but throughout the song, you'll hear this voice that sounds like either a person's having an orgasm or they're about to throw up. Quite funny, actually.

If I listed all the songs I hate, I'd probably end up with writer's cramp. Although one that sticks out is "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me" by Culture Club.

Drew

when I first saw the video on MTV with Boy George in it, and he sang "Do you really want to hurt me?" and I just said "YES!!!"

Everytime I hear the song "Bang your heads" by Quiet Riot (I think), I want to do just that!

I used to hate "Ring My Bell", by Anita Ward. Her high pitched voice and those electronic drums made me want to barf... then time went on and now, I really love that song.

The long version contains whistling, as well. Couldn't those guys have just played guitar instead of doing all that silly nonsense?

Oh, and Baron, I really do like "Convoy" now... but it's those lyrics... "...they even had a bear in the air...", "We're about to go huntin' bear",... I find it hilarious!

Ring My Bell, yes I hate that song. Had it stuck in my head for a whole day. ewwwww!

another one. One Hot Mama by Trace Adkins

OH NOOOOOOOOOOO RING MY BELL!!!!!!!!! FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! Dont know if thats the worst song ever made but I will say that its a song I totaly hate with a passion beings it's one of the examples of what the mainstream public thinks is true disco music. However Anita Ward has 2 great tracks that im sure no one on this forum knows, "Make Belive Lovers" (which is by chance the B side to "Ring My Bell") and "Dont Drop My Love". But Ring My Bell.....BURN THAT SHIT!!!!!!

One of the worst songs I ever heard I can't even remember the title of or the "artist" who performed it... it was around 1997 or 1998... it could be considered hip-hop, I guess... it was sort of slow... and the main part of the song sounded like a guy belching all the way throughout the song. It was hilarious the first time I heard it, but then it just got annoying. Anyone remember that? Maybe you don't want to.

LOL LOL, that sounds like it could be just about any hip hop track out there...that damn DMX (think that was the moron's name), every time he does a so called "song"..he makes a noise that sounds like he's takin a mean shit! I had to hear all this crap from my now ex step kids..thats the only reason I even know bout some of the crap LOL

I just logged on to www.circuitcity.com and listened to that DMX album (they have samples from each track). Honestly, I didn't know where one song ended and another began. It just sounded like a monotonous stream of nonsense. His voice just rambled on and on... if I wanted to hear a lot of senseless chatter, I'd hook up with one of my old ex-girlfriends. (By the way, you can listen to any CD you want to at www.circuitcity.com)

Actually "Convoy", "Hocus Pocus", and Blue Suede's "Hooked on a Feeling" are pretty decent tunes. (I think, anyway)
But for true, unadulturated torture on the ears, one song from the 70s comes to mind:

"Playground in my Mind"(My Name is Micheal)

Who GIVES A SH#T if Micheal has a damn nickel!!!:sowrong: :Grrr: :Grrr:

"Playground In My Mind", by Clint Holmes, should be used to torture those guys who drive around playing their music at 200 decibels. Lock them in a room, play that song full blast and watch their arrogant smirks turn into pleas for mercy! Play Ray Stevens' "The Streak" to really get their tears flowing.
