I mean he still trys to make it back sometimes... Also if he was a sell-out he wouldnt come back at all. Look at Goldberg he's not even promoting his own match you know why? hes out filming some santa movie. This proves Goldberg can give a damn about WWE and Wrestlemania XX. He knew March was Wrestlemania XX. Ur thoughts?

The rock a sellout? thats a laugh. The rock is one of the few wrestlers who is multi-talented. He doenst owe anybody anything. The fans didnt make the rock. He made himself who he is today. If the fans stuck by him, thats their problem.
the Rock is definitely not a sellout. the man is probably one of the greatest wrestlers/characters of all time. i'm disappointed that he doesnt wrestle as much, but i am still a huge fan of his. if ya smell what i'm cooking!
as for Goldberg, to tell you the truth he screwed himself. he should have signed when WCW merged with WWE. had he done that, he would have been huge. it is his own fault that he waited 2 years to sign. he was beginning to go into wrestling oblivion. he was never the star Austin, Triple H, or the Rock is. Goldberg screwed himself. if he leaves, oh well. it's not like we are missing anything....

Getting out of wrestling, for the most part, before he gets hurt badly, like so many others have....
He wrestles WM XX, gets the $$ for it, and still makes the movies, getting the $$ for that....
He parlayed his in-ring success to provide for his family....
DAMN smart move....
Goldberg was not very welcomed when he arrived in WWE....
A few months, for no reason, he attacked Jericho backstage, in front of the boys....
Held him up by the throat against the wall....
Jericho reversed, and got Oldberg in a front facelock, which I can attest to, is damn near IMPOSSIBLE to get out of, if applied for real....
After 15 minutes, Gillberg finally apologized, and Jericho let him go....
Stu Hart may be gone, but never forgotten....

When WCW went under, most of the top guys (Goldberg, Nash, Hall, Steiner, etc) were still under contract to Time Warner, with two years left. As Nash repeatedly stated, why wrestle when they could just sit at home and collect on their contracts?
Goldberg's problem is that he doesn't care about wrestling like the others do. He was made a star overnight in WCW, and got very caught up in himself. He just wants to make money, and could care less about the sport itself.
The phrase "sellout" is a joke. It's spouted by people who don't want to share their love of a particular artist with others. Just ask Metallica or Liz Phair.

I'm really not a fan of wrestling, but my sisters love THE ROCK. He can do no wrong by them. And these are two stick-in-the-mud types, not progressive like me!😉
If wrestlers can become movie stars and politicians, I don't see where the problem is. Besides, why wait until you're too injured and drugged-out before you launch a career?
