I get jealous... when I should be extatic.

At my college there is a girl I really, really like called Emily. She is really beautiful, with a cute laugh and from what i've seen of them, pretty decent feet. She has a stunning body, a nicely (but not overly) tanned belly, and she is a great girl. I've tickled her a few times (never on the feet, only her sides and a few times her ticklish neck) but I get the feeling I'm not the only one in my college with a tickling fetish. Firstly, there is one guy, David, who tickles girls all the time (I don't really like him, even if he has got a tickling fetish), and is very touchy feely. If i asked every girl in our college- who he gets on reasonable well with- have they been tickled by him at some point, they'd say yes for sure.
Anyway, one day my best mate and I were talking and he was telling me about how David was flirting with Emily in Science, i was annoyed but calmly asked my friend 'Why what was he doing? Feeling her up probably..' and I said this, almost expecting what my mate was about to tell me 'Kinda' he said 'Well he always comes over and tickles her and stuff.' And I was furious. And I don't know why. It makes me jealous that he always tickles her, but don't most people with tickling fetishes just love seeing girls tickled, regardless of who by. And on other occasions other people have tickled her sides and I get angry so much... I wish I could just be happy that tickling is been spread around and not be jealous that I'm not the one doing all the tickling.

Is there any one else in the same boat as me, who gets jealous rather than excited when thier love ie tickled?

sounds to me like your feelings have less to do with tickling than with plain old having a crush on someone and feeling jealous when someone else is doing whatever you'd like to be doing with her whether it is tickling or eating out or laughing at his jokes or ...whatever

I agree, it sounds like your tickling has become your personal way of getting to touch her just like the other guy. You are now feeling competition with him and the fact you don't like him makes it worse. You do have a crush on her. I would advise that you forget about her or ask her out on a date. It seems to me that either she likes this guy or she doesn't and to her he is just flirting with her. Some girls just like the attention, it doesn't matter who its from. Find out which it is otherwise my friend you may find yourself contantly being in competition with him.

*Man I'm glad I'm past this game. If I like a woman that I am friends with , I tell her. I'm already friends with her what harm could it do..ruin the friendship?
If I like her and she doesn't like me at least I know and then can make a decision on whether or not I will continue getting any closer.

I would only get jealous of another guy tickling someone I love is if it's unrequited love. Which means if I love her and she has given me no idea how she feels about me. Once that is established and I know she is my lover and only my lover..then she can be tickled by anyone that I consider a friend.

But as I said before. I never let my feelings out until I know for sure it will be returned.

I completely sympathise with you!!! I am not the over-protective type at all, and I know full well how irrational my emotions are, but I can't help feeling an absolute SURGE of jealousy rush through me when another guy really tickles my girl. I know it's harmless. I know neither of them mean much by it, but because of how much tickling means to me, it feels the same as if he were passionately groping and kissing her infront of me. I'm serious: I don't mind seeing a girl I love flirting outrageously with other guys. But when tickling is involved it's completely different: It's like despite the context, it still drives me mad because it's something physical that i tie so closely with sex. Seeing her tickled excites me just as much as seeing her moaning with pleasure and even if I know there is nothing to worry about, it doesnt change that fact. The only example I can think of is on the second? Matrix where that woman tells Neo to kiss her infront of Trinity. It drives Trinity wild despite her knowing that Neo is doing it with the best intentions.


Anyway, word of advice: Don't show your jealousy, cos it'll make you look unbelievably clingy because to most people tickling is harmless fun. Unless you make her your girlfriend, in which case you should come out about your fetish, and explain to her the above.

And more importantly, if you like her are you going to do anything about it? If not, why not? This guy David is sounds very forward, what if he ends up dating Emily and you have to watch him tickling her all the time!?
