It would'nt take revolution either. Armed revolution never did anything but set up another system that was either as bad as, or worse than the one before it. And that includes the American revolution. The only way to improve something is by working from a peaceful and direct route, not getting bogged down with stockpiling guns like the Christian Patriot Movement, or sitting in smoke filled rooms planning and plotting.

I don't necessarily mean an armed revolution. What I mean by that is that it will not be accomplished by working within the existing system. Even if it were to be accomplished, building on top of a bad foundation tends to make the structure unstable, therefore it would be better to start from scratch.

If Satan's greatest ever ploy was convincing mankind that he didn't exist, then politicians greatest ploy was making them believe they have no power. As for effort causing personal loss, well only if you go at it bull-headed and dangerously. Otherwise the only way is massive personal gain

My point is that any revolution or "revolutionary" activity requires support. While I agree that you are right, people like us are a VERY SMALL minority. History has shown that it takes far worse than the current situation before any part of the general populace will actually take any such action that you have mentioned. This can be attributed to many things, one of the biggest being a risk/gain ratio.
In fact generally accepted(and seemingly reasonable) political theory states that unless there is a rather sharp difference between public expectation and what is happening, people may whine and complain and take small actions, but not until then will they risk attempting total reform. So, in essence I agree with you, people arent helpless in reality, but they believe they are, and this leads them to sit on their butts, accomplishing nothing. This has been the case for hundreds(if not thousands) of years now. Until this mentality changes, they are essentially "helpless".

Yeah it would take a huge change in mentality, but the beauty of it is, that it's risk free. It'll take some time for me to get round to it, but I will eventually. It's the most important part of the series. The problem some may have is that it's part spiritual and part scientific.
