awesome painting Feathery...did you draw it? and i've always loved the 20's look..the hat thingie Mia Farrow wore in "The Great Gatsy" when she went to Gatsby's party the first time is something i would love to own..

I wish I did! It's a painting by a wonderful painter, and one of my favorite artists, Tamara de Lempicka. I posted a thread of some of her work. There is a terrific book of her, written by her daughter, if you are interested.

Uhm, this is about Isabeau and her amazing sports car!! - but i have to write just to avoid any confusion, the "sports" part of my sportscar is all in my imagination. 😛 -my Hyundai is small enough to fit on my hand though

P.S. Oh and i discovered a great trick to keep your car 'yours' - put a pink fuzzy around the steering wheel and hang cute lavender scented stuffed toys from the rear view mirror. 😉 Worked for me at least

well uh if you can figure out a way for me to drive my miatta over the ocean sure lol..don't think it could handle such a trip..

Chickles..hmm not sure how far my car can go..i don't see long road trips in my future..after all it's used..with almost ninety thousand miles on the engine..but we shall see..

well this car is bringing me luck..already had two interviews for jobs..i'm wanting a hospital job however so i might wait..i want to work around people..although one job is in a doctor's office..

hmm i would love to visit Southampton...the oil hasn't needed changing yet, but the radio faded off and i had forgotten about it..and when it suddenly came back on blasting, i nearly jumped thru the roof lolol..also i couldn't figure out how to use the windshield wipers..i had all sorts of strange things occurring as i was driving, trying to find those damn wipers..kept making the hoods covering the headlights go up and down lolol..

hmm well it didn't happen that extreme..thank goodness lolol...and i don't know where the trunk popper opener is yet..

anyway..i knew it..today was an absolutely gorgeous day, so after lunch, hubby informs me that he is taking the car back to work..with the top down..and get this...at an intersection, he met a guy driving a green miatta, also with his top down..and the two idiots waved at each other..gesh men and their cars...but crap this is my car damn it.. hubby is a big kid with MY MY MY CAR... he is online at this moment, looking at miatta parts..hmm i should maybe accept the one job that was offered to me..then i can keep my car where it belongs..with meeeeeeeeeee

i can easily imagine myself doing very same thing! How well i remember my first time driving on the right hand side of the road!! I kept checking the mirror in the wrong spot and putting on the windscreen wipers every time i wanted to turn a corner! lol
