Who is your ISP (AOL, Prodigy, etc.)? I'll walk you through the uploading you'll need to do first.

Ok, I checked it out. There is some info that I can't access, but there is a detailed walkthrough at http://www1.sympatico.ca/help/Webspace/upload.html#upload

You will first have to select your ISP. I'm not sure which one you're using.

I have no clue what an ISP is but would it be helpful if I said i also use AOL as internet server.

Ok We can work with that! When you open up AOL, go to:

AOL Services > Internet > FTP > Go to FTP > Choose members.aol.com from the list > click Connect

When the dialogue box opens click OK

At this point, you're connected to your personal space on AOL's FTP server.

Click on:
Upload > type name of file exactly (case sensitive) > then click continue > select file > send

All done!

Now to link the file here use this code:

Where your-screen-name is your screen name (duh) and file-name.mpg is whatever the file is called. If it's a real player file, it may be file-name.rm for example.

hold! problem. I cant find AOL services. I open the website and it doesn't say that anywhere.

When you open AOL it should be up in the top menus between People and Settings

strange. On my top bar it reads:

Main, my aol, mail, people, search, shop, channels, devices.

maybe its because I use AOL Canada.

Hmmm, now I'm lost. I don't remember any AOL version like that. You could try and look up FTP in your help section of AOL, and it should tell you how to FTP.

I wish I could be more help! Now I'm sitting here thinking about that crazy movie Strange Brew with the two guys from Canada.
