I have Yahoo so how do I set up IM on there?

Okay I know there are a number of people from here who would like to IM me on Yahoo. I have a Yahoo email address. Just went on Yahoo and it seems like I have to download Yahoo Messenger to be able to IM people. Is this right or am I missing something? I really need help on this. Look forward to your replies.

Try going to keyword, and typing in yahoo messenger.

I think u just download the program. At least that's what I did & everything was good (till my comp. died)🙁

you don't download the web messenger lol, it's done thru the web which is why it's called web messenger 😛 lol...

but if you want the real thing that you do download to the computer that I prefer to use... go to messenger.yahoo.com and it'll tell u how to d/l the real thing on there lol and I for one would love to talk to you through messenger even though I've never talked to you on here lol

You'll either have to download and install the client, or use the web version: http://webmessenger.yahoo.com/

If you already use other IM clients you can download something like trillian that lets you use multiple services from one program, you can also use trillian if you just don't like that services client.
