I haven't heard anything about this, hon. If there is a shortage it'll be nation wide, not limited to one state. Besides, Maniactickler has plenty of gas to spare. Maybe he could tag along! :blaugh:

ok whomever told me this is soo gonna get it.. they aren't closed, at least not yet.. and this i heard earlier on cnn. gesh.. sorry guys, ignore this thread.

although i did hear peeps in allentown PA are pawning things for gas...

Actually, guys, I heard about this on TV last night. Channel 6 news in Philadelphia reported that there were certain service stations in the Philly suburbs that were in fact short of, or out of gas. In some cases, certain stations had only high octane premium, while in other cases, there was no gas at all. The problem appeared to be one of refinery production of the gas, where the refineries were producing gas at a lower production level than usual, due to attempting to convert to a cleaner method of production. I dont know if this is a long or short term problem, but at least in the Philly suburbs, there was a report about this situation.

Maybe this means our gas prices will see a bit of that action. For some odd reason, when it comes to gas prices, Washington State is directly connected to everyone elses misfortunes.
