I know it's a long shot...any J-Rock fans here?

Japanese Rock. Easily the most bizzare music art form, and yet still beautiful art that is unlike any other.


My personal favorite is Gackt. He owns my soul =P

there he is in all his glory, I have a few of his concerts, they never cease to amaze me...saw him in person once... 😱 (and yes, he is male!)

His former band, "Malice Mizer", is one of the all time greats.

there they are....quite an interesting group, if I may say so myself.

I reccomend the song "Beast Blood" ..some of thier music videos are truly sickening, but in a sexy way 😱


Another great J-Rock band to check out is Dir En Grey, all of thier stuff is great.

I know that most likely most of you here ave never heard any of this, but if you have or if you are already a fan, speak up!

*Raises hand* I am. I rarely get a chance to listen to it (Being mostly limited to buying CDs at cons and downloading tracks where I can find them), but I've been slowly getting more into it. I THINK I may have heard Gackt and Dir En Grey, but I usually have no idea what I am listening to (Since most tracks I find are, as I said, from the internet and come poorly labled). It is a genre (If it can be labled that) that I would like to get more in to.


Must buy CDs at Otakon...
