Awwww sorry to hear that mammers09, you are a very sweet and nice girl, sorry to hear that you are feeling so sad and down and bummed about being in a dormitory in college and not having much alone time and privacy. I totally understand what you mean. I have been there and I have done that, still in some ways am personally going through this-if you want to know pm me and I will share-it is a long long story. However I want you to know I am here for you and sorry you are feeling blue and down my friend. Agreed - by Zeus, I have a small feeling a large handful of my friends from dorms in first year are lurking on here somewhere, the amount of ticklefights that got started...

Are you on a laptop or a desktop PC? If it's a laptop, just peek while you're facing the door, so even if they come in before you're ready, the screen will be facing you and they won't have a chance to see what you're peekin' at! Don't stay away!

Do what I did, use firefox and always have another tab open. If you hear the door opening just Control+# to the other tab quickly. Or if you have a laptop just sit with it facing you so no one else can see.



Don't do what I did and watch a clip with your headphones plugged into the microphone jack by mistake
...luckily I had a very open relationship with my roommate.
