Today, I was in a car. I was in the passenger seat with my arm out the window. We stopped at a red light just in time for some bird shit to land on my arm... I am getting so sick of this lol it's like the third time this has happened to me somehow.

Anyway, I just thought everyone would like to know that.

LOL That reminds me of when we were on our honeymoon. We'd been at the beach all day and decided to shift to the poolside. We were relaxing and reading out there when a gull flew over and bombed me. He got me good too, the little turd. lol The funniest part was watching the guy across the pool trying to keep from cracking up...which I promptly invited him to go ahead and do. (Didn't want the poor guy to explode!) 😛

Luck is relative

Well, the good news is that bird shit does eventually wash off.

I had an acquaintance in college who had a habit of driving her jeep with her left hand hanging outside of the driver's side window. One day, she lost control of her jeep and rolled it-- she was not able to pull her hand back inside the car in time before sustaining terrible injury. In addition to being crushed, the skin was torn from her hand in what trauma specialists refer to as a "glove injury."

There is a happy ending to this story, believe it or not. She survived the accident, went through God only knows how many surgeries and how much physical therapy and has regained significant partial use of her left hand. The entire experience had such a profound impact on her that she eventually changed majors when she returned to school. She is (last I heard) a physical therapist, and a very good one at that.

In other words, Drago, what I'm trying to tell you is "sometimes shit happens for a reason." 😉

ha,ha, that's pretty funny! That reminds me of an incident during the summer. I was on the boardwalk at Ocean City with a date. A big flock of segals flew overhead. My date had been looking around and admiring the beauty and grandeur of the area, when suddenly she looked at me with her mouth hanging open. The birds had assaulted her! It wasn't real bad, just a minor mess on her summer dress.

Ok, sue me, but it was really funny! The look of surprise and horror on her face was priceless! It was one of those times when you know you're going to get your ass kicked if you laugh, but you laugh anyway.

In the Navy, 'Quarters' is the morning roll call. One morning, while standing in ranks on my destroyer's foc'sle, behind the gun mount, a First Class in my division (a classic, memorable schnook if ever there was one) was standing in front, in his dress blues, having come off of quarterdeck watch. He was there, counting us, checking off a list, when one of the other First Classes called out, "dive bomber!" I looked up, and the aforementioned schnook was walking away, with a sheepish look on his face, and a great pile of seagull shit sitting on the right shoulder of his dress blues. All of Donald Trump's money couldn't have purchased that moment... 😎
