well, so i dont write a novel on here lol. as to your problem, Mendingheart, just be honest. it is a scary thing to talk about when you aren't used to it, but the best way to let any relationship progress is to tell the significant other in your life the honest truth, and see what goes from there. if nothing else, you can always hand him some sashes or something similar and say "What would you do with these...?" and see where it goes.
honesty will get you far. be open and follow through.

I think you just have to tell him the truth like cloudgazer said. Maybe you could start out by just asking him to tie you up. Write him a tickling story that describes one of your fantasies. If you're shy about doing this, then tell him that you've decided to do this because you trust him.
