"I Saw Mommy TICKLE Santa Claus"

A short while back Ayla Ny posted a thread about the reaction some of us have to hearing the word "tickle" or "tickling." (Unfortunately, the TMF administrator disabled the "Search" function, or I would copy and paste a link here.)

As I write this on 12/20/2004, we're hearing Christmas music everywhere. "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus," such song you hear many times, includes the line, "I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus." I shake a little inside everytime someone sings that line. How about you?

Also, has anyone used that line from the song as an excuse to tickle somebody?

Oh my god - I hear that song every day at work and I always wonder if thats the line - then I think 'don't be silly'. Ha! I was right! Rather a strange lyric I think.

I think I have heard this line. Of course, from my perspective, I'd much rather see Santa Claus tickling mommy!😀 I have heard this song many times, and vaguely remember the line. Maybe I didnt pay attention because the ticklee was a heavy guy with a beard! Not my idea of a person I'd want to tickle!

I hear this song everytime I go to the supermarket. I feel like I blush a little everytime the singer sings that line. And it also seems like she emphasizes that word. I'm glad someone else out there has noticed this song.
