I was just in a car accident

My wife and I were in the back of a taxi (she is 7 months pregnant). And then all of a sudden somebody slammed into the back of us and then we went into the back of somebody else.

All in all it was a mess, but thank god my wife and unborn baby are well. We both banged our heads a little into the front seats, but we're ok.. just still a little shaken thinking about what could have happened...

...just thought i'd share.

wow Macker glad you and your wife are ok. thanks for sharing that with us. my mom was also in a car wreck when she was eight months pregnant. dont worry about those babies they are tuff. my sister turned out fine.

Thank God you're all ok! Been in a few accidents myself, and they're a scary thing. You feel suddenly very small and fragile among all that crunching metal.

Again, I am thankful that no one was hurt. 😎

I'm glad you’re all right. I remember my accident, I was riding in the passenger seat and a car pushed another car into our lane. I remember my nostrils were burning from the smells, and we thought the car was on fire at first but then realized it was just the steam coming for the radiator. My front door was stuck so I was asked to crawl out the back. But I just had back sugary so I didn't want to mess my back up, but finally we got the door open. People in a car accident I think are willing to be more careful on the roads.

whoa macker..i think we just met the other nite in chat..but im glad that you and your wife are okay! Ive been in 4 accidents that werent my fault..so i know what its like. People love playin bumber cars with me and my 3400lb monte carlo. grrrr!

Very scary! I was in a minor accident just before Christmas and survived a major rollover 6 years ago. I was upside down and they had to do that "jaws of life" thing, it was awful. Thank God you two and baby are ok though.

Living in a country where car crashes are trivial I´m glad you guys could get out of it without any injuries 🙂 At least you´ll have a little story to tell to the baby 🙂

I´been in a few crashes myself, four as a driver and probably as many as a passenger. The most serious one was as a passenger, I was like 15 years old, on the back seat tired from a weekend near the right door. A car hit us right where I was at around 40mph. It´s a very strong memory! I remember being all covered with glass from the window, even inside my mouth and deep inside my underwear (go figure how!), the crazy argument bettween me and my friend as to which door we should use to get out of the car (obviously, both back doors were impossible to open but you should have tried to tell us back then).

A lot of crazy things allways happen on car crashes, and if everything ends up alright, we allways get some storys to tell 🙂

Lazzy and I were in a serious car accident back in Feb....we were t-boned by a semi doing 50 on a highway. Totalled the car so bad they had to use the jaws of life to cut Lazzy out. Fortunately we both walked away with fairly minor injuries (bruises and cuts and concussions), but I can certainly relate to the fear and shock you're experiencing.

I'll echo everyone else in saying God bless you both are alright, especially with a lil one on the way.

My God, with a pregnant wife, no less. I can't think of anything more horrifying. Thank Heaven your wife and baby are okay. I was once hit by a car while riding a bicycle many years ago. For at least a year after I found myself extrememly nervous driving or riding in any car. I just kept feeling that an impact was imminent. It's an awful thing to go through. My condolences, and best wishes.

Yes, there were no serious injuries to anybody which is very surprising considering the damage to all the cars...
