I wish there was a way we could stick it to Amazon

Amazon is a bleak look at what will be our future, the future of humanity. I know a few people that were caught up in the 14,000 Amazon layoffs and theyre pretty upset about it. Especially after several years of hard work and dedication to a company that will fire or lay you off without a second thought.

So the question is, what can we really do? Amazon is one of the largest and most powerful companies in the world. We're essentially powerless little ants compared to it.

I will be canceling my Amazon credit card and Prime membership next week and I will no longer be shopping at Amazon, but really, what difference does this make? None. Its a joke. We can't fight AI and we cant fight the corporations. All we can do is sit here and take the abuse. If anyone has any suggestions, share them I guess. Not that it will matter in the long run.

I know Amazon treat there staff like shit, but they're so damn efficient.

Holiday season coming up soon, no one wants to go around the shops, with packed crowds on a Saturday and heating horrible Christmas songs!

With a few clicks it's all done, with no fucks given..

I worked at Amazon for 7 months. HATED IT!!! All they want are soul-less robots. I started at beginning of peak season. 6:30am -6:30pm. So exhausted when I got home. I was a picker. Basically stood in one place all day long picking items out of a pod/cabinet. Hated that place!

I worked at several Walmart Distribution Centers that work very similar to Amazon. Walmart essentially copies everything that Amazon does. Definitely not putting people first as you can see from underpaying their employees to getting sweet deals from slave countries like China.

Both Walmart, and Amazon have such a user friendly system for online shopping unless you run into a problem with an order and have to talk to somebody. Then they try everything that they can to just get you to walk away frustrated.
The customer does not always come first.

I get your frustration about these crony corporations, but I guess they make life so simple, and convenient with online ordering, and cheap products that the masses are still going to bow to the alter of simplicity.

Frustrating I know.
Scream. Laugh. Beat a punching bag for an hour, and get back to things you can control I guess.
Tough times don't last.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm a huge sucker for Amazon and their damn sales as well. You can buy damn near everything on there and its so convenient. Though I will admit lately it seems like Amazon has been getting and advertising or recommending a lot less brand-name products and a lot more cheap or random name products. I've been seeing a lot of products that are from no-name companies with Eastern sounding names.

And Amazon is the only place I will get a credit card through because you can get everything. I just feel bad because they're laying so many people off and replacing them with AI. All for the sake of money, profits, and their stupid investors.

We will see much more of this in the future. More and more humans will be cast aside, replaced by a fully machine workforce that does not need food, sleep, shelter, or Healthcare benefits.

Humans will be forced to sleep on the streets scrounging for work while the small number of fat-cat execs up at the top of the pyramid smile down at their massive profits and slave-machine empires. The rich get richer. Everyone else gets poorer.
